There is no chance that this will happen. Every room inside the palace has a set of predefined mobs and they always re-pop the same. Killed a PLD, 16 min later a PLD will repop.

And there are only 3 SMN as far as I remember. 2 on 1F and 1 on 2F (higher level, more exp). I remember their locations were top secret because we did not want competitors on them. But people farming Ix'Drk and Ix'Drg should know them by now.

And why not drag the SMN to the square room?

if by the square room you mean the ixdrk/fort kite room, then id imagine because if you take the smn there and de-aggro it, it will depop.

Remembered just after posting about the ix'drg smn, thats probably the best one to work with, because ive found when xping there, linkshells are often willing to let me have that 1 room and they kill the other 3, especially if i make it clear to them that ill let them know if drg pops in my room.

Can re-aggro it before it de-pops? Or too much of a hassle? After de-aggro, it will just stand there for ~10 sec or so I think.

Sorry i wasnt able to come down to help you test earlier when you sent me a tell, ix drk decided to take its time dieing, probably knowing that i had to go for assaults.

Personally i would shy away from relying on the smn mob for xp, because all it takes is a couple of people wanting to pop ixdrk, and bad luck with ???'s to ruin your exp. (Im a firm believer that if you are xping at a camp where a nm pops, with no intention of popping the nm, you shouldnt be annoyed if someone else kills all the mobs so they can pop the nm, frustrated yes, but annoyed no XD)

As far as Ix'aern DRK goes.. Well, just as most people won't mind being understanding while farming Ix'DRG, I can't imagine it would be that hard to get them to let you keep the single Summoner. If anything, having people there clearing excess Aern would be helpful.

And Tymora, are you absolutely sure about that? Perhaps it was adjusted.. But I swear I remember meriting back in 06 there, and having multiple Summoners pop in the same room.

Pretty sure. I have the Aern jobs mapped for the entire 1F and 2F. Had a bunch of BLMs run around Hu Xzoi and Ru Hmet killing them not long after sea was added to find this out. I also completed my BLM merits in Sea on 2F Ru Hmet, nuking the same BLMs, MNKs...etc over and over...

As such, not all rooms are equal, some rooms are easier than others to clear.
The first room to the left and right of HuXzoi have 1 job > number of mobs in room so there it is not always the same there.

Memories do get murky over time. Sure someone didn't pull another Aern in from somewhere else?

is only the rdm supposed to have hate on the aern-smn? cuz we can't get it to deagro after running around the pillars (aound the whole room, across the room, etc) for many minutes with gravity on the aern

I love for you to find the last post when I QQed about BLM, I think you will find it was a very long time ago. Try getting your facts strait kid.

Still no info on minimum requirements for this.. Finding an available Scholar on Asura is pretty hard.
