It also seems that Skadi's Jambeaux are 12% movement speed. Not sure if they stack with W.Legs though.

So you're obviously at least somewhat new here. Finding an unknown (?) condition to activate a latent effect is great and nice find, but... if you're only announcing the discovery of it this should go into the other section of the forum (newbie/standard discussion), to avoid what you see in the above posts! This section, advanced, is more for some pretty heavy shit in one form of another (whether a discovery, drama, or whatever). The other section is basically everything else.

red HP was my guess when I saw it in the .dat thread. I did have some hopes that just maybe SE had introduced its first semi-respectable dagger to the game since.... I can't really recall the dates Blau, Pharpe, X's, and even Harpe were introduced. Adder Jambiya needs a new recipe. Azoth would be a better qualified HNM drop if it was a 194 delay, 176 really.

In an attempt to completely not fanboy here, by lately I'm guessing you mean within the last year. There has been nothing to significantly change 1H weapons in general for some time, but that's more of a thing relative to the 2H patch. I'm not sure that comparison is so fair considering that Ninja's suffer about the same as thieves do in that area. If we complain about it for thieves, it has to go to any 1H weapon job.
Dagger damage rating boost, Homam and Skadi gear, X's knife, Colibri/Puks, and more recently easily obtainable Enkidu gear, 9 accuracy without giving up too much and 2 minute feint are all pretty significant to me. I don't think we'll ever be quite as much damage as the big guns on high defense mobs because of our TH/Flee/Gilfinder/Steal gimmicks. And I don't think they necessarily ignored us, but don't want to make us too overpowered.
As for subbing a mage job, I'm going to give them a little more credit than that, The collaborator ability also gave us a great means to tank in many situations.
But yea, this latent is really disappointing. I was hoping this dagger might at least have some useful novelty... let down.
Collabortor is great. It lets my WHM buddy sset off a big DS Cure while Im tanking and I dont have to worry about him dying before I can get hate back.
