What I'm saying is... knowing SE, they'd add it to AV's loot pool, which would (as things are now) solve nothing at all.

yeah probably, but i think what i said is really something someone should ask in an interview. idk w/e
I'm sorry, but the answer to the first question was fucking hilarious.
But anyway, why is Milkman allowed to speak? Can't we get an interview by someone who can ask at least a few respectable questions?Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin
As expected, no mention of AV from Milkman.
On a positive note, SE hasn't beat around the bush when answering questions this time or avoided the questions, pulling the George W they're so well known for doing.
Feedback from SE's side seems to be improving. I think things are going to get better for FFXI then we've seen.
Yes but then SE wouldn't give us any answers.Originally Posted by Septimus

Joking aside, I didn't think it was that bad an interview (by SE standards).
8/10 interview by SE standards.
Still dodged the question about Kings though, and why WoTG has gone backwards in terms of EXP locations.
The explanation for the A- for Ninja was just, urgh. ._.
I guess Beastmaster having an A+ in 1h Axes would overpower them too, eh? They remind me of my manager at work. When a problem approaches, he does some stupid trial and error BS that hurts everyone except for him. Then when it doesn't work.. he doesn't care.
The part where they called bullshit on themselves by saying that these will be equally as challenging to get as normal relics.Originally Posted by Neosutra

Might I add I was a bit pissed about their response to why kings aren't adjusted, claiming their are better equipment alternatives today being their reason for not revisiting and changing kings drop rates. Ridill is an outstanding weapon.
Ridill can stay the way it is. It should be rare. However, D.Ring needs to be adjusted. No reason why any item in the game should be that rare. SE also needs to adjust kings difficulty so it actually takes 18 to take them down. They should raise their level/max HP to equal out with today's meritted/better equipped playerbase so they're somewhat of a challenge.

Or you know they should just actually fix the shitty massive repop times and bot ridden system that is kings instead of continuing to add mobs in the same way. Tiamat, Cerb, Khim, Ixion, etc. let the fucking player base decide when they want to fight the monsters. Maybe the botting isn't really an issue on something like Ixion but repop timers are stupid when there is no other way to get those items.Originally Posted by Noob
Is SE aware that paladins are subbing NINJA to tank, and you know, avoiding more damage than NINJAS? Also lol at dokumori ichi being SO POWERFUL, isn't it like 3 dmg/tick?As for the Jubaku and Dokumori, the Ni spells you mention, they do exist, but because the Ichi are so powerful, by bringing in the Ni on those certain spells, they would make the Ninja stronger than the Red Mage in those sets, and we didn't want to do that. As for why Paladins are so much better at keeping hate because they have more abilities...because the Ninja is a tank that tanks by avoiding damage, by giving them the type of abilities that would make it easier to hold hate by themselves, that would make them so powerful -- more powerful than the Paladins -- that we think this would be the problem. So we would rather have them maintain what they have now and work with other jobs to help maintain that hate, rather than taking all that hate themselves and going beyond the abilities of a Paladin.
i thought it was a good interview..
it gave answers to some things that people have been asking/wondering and with good reasons, even if the player base would never actually agree with it..
Look forward to the new avatars... and the automaton AI fixes.. and a BST jug list would be interesting.. even if it wasnt necessary
I lol'd.Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin

The new avatarS sounded nice but also seemed like they were cheating in that regard. Less abilities but more avatars... sounds like they could've had one big avatar with all those abilities but they know summoners like multiple new shiny avatars... very cunning SE
Blah, still no word on why Kraken Club isn't all jobs anymore...
I do hope WHM does get some bigger spells in terms of buffing the pt.
lol at the Norg ferry question :\
Yeah that's pretty laughable. They got rid of the obvious noobs but HNM/King botting is as bad as it's ever been.Originally Posted by Agrona
I like it. He asked a lot of questions, did not really get any dodging and 2-3 things sound really nice.

We do have someone. His name is Bercus. Unfortunately, everytime he asks a question, the devs have perma Third Eye with a chat log message of "Wait and see kekekekekekek~ ^_____________________________^".Originally Posted by Septimus
