POL-1341

is anyone else getting this error or even know a fix for it....only started today after yesterdays POL update...

after a period of POL hanging after loading messages/friendlist the above screen pops up.....re-started POL a few times now and also checked POL files with no problems found

I got this a bunch of times trying to log on a moment ago, tried another account, tried resetting POL...eventually it worked, I think just out of chance rather than anything I did.

Getting it too now, I've had the problem before and it turned out to be a problem with the pipeline I was connecting to the Internet to via my ISP. But if other people are getting this problem, then I doubt this is the problem for me now.

Getting this too, called my isp but nothing they can do. And resetting pol/computer/modem has no effect. So I'll assume it's out of our hands for a while.

I'm on plusnet in the UK and get these same symptoms occasionally (VERY slow loading of Friend List, Hanging after loading Friend List, Playonline Website running equally slow). No idea what causes it really, only thing that fixed it for me in the past is reseting router a few times to force it to connect to a different pipeline.

I was just about to make a topic about this in the Technical Support forum since I've not been able to log in all day either due to this error. I google'd it and the only really relevant thing that came up was a topic on Alla (lol) from April this year containing posts by people complaining of the same issue. From what I've read it seems to be affecting UK-based players only.

Apparently for a couple of them the issue seemed to resolve itself after a while and they were able to log in, I guess we just need to hope the same happens this time. Fuck England and fuck AOL, the bullshit just never ends with my internet connection.

I have the same problem all morning already and I am in Germany. I checked files already and tried to log in several times... no luck. I didnt change anything in settings or what so ever. Its worked pretty fine till last night.
I'd appreciate it if someone finds a solution for this problem. I didnt get to play the lst week, I want at least to play a few hours this weekend ._.
