Elemental Grips

I got my Earth Grip today and noticed something for the first time. It said "Earth Elemental Magic Accuracy+2" Being the person I am, I started reading into the actual words. Now my question is, are they grips only for elemental magic, or are they being dumb and wording it as earth element based magic acc +2? I am going on the thought that it is only elemental magic, because of the wording on Sorcerer's Tonban, and how they only work for elemental magic. Also, in case no one is really sure, can someone that can read/translate Japanese check the Japanese text and make sure its not just a translation error.

We presume they'll work for all types of magic, simply because light and dark grips were made and there are no dark or light spells governed by Elemental Magic skill.

I like how every time a topic is made about this, someone makes the mistake of forgetting about light/dark helixes. I did it one topic, Tsukasaz in another, Shuemue in this one, and I think one other person when it came up in the middle of some other thread.

Someone has a sig with the dark grip in it and says something like "If you have dark elemental magic please raise your hand" And then I think Drain, Aspir, and Noctohelix.
