As the title states, my pol.exe crashes randomly when I'm in Whitegate. So far Whitegate is the only zone that I have found to be affected.

Basically I'll be standing there chatting or watching for shouts or whatever else you might do in Whitegate, not using any abilities in particular, and suddenly get a windows message that pol.exe has crashed and asks if I want to send in an error report to microsoft, etc. This occurs in spurts of 3 or so times in a row, and then other days I can stay logged in for ours on end with no problems at all. I can't pick out anything specific that would be tying these crashes together except for simply the fact that I'm in Whitegate.

Stuff I've tried: Turn down ffxi graphics settings, adjust settings on my graphics card, play at smaller resolution, turn off effects, turn off shadows, turning off all windower plugins, playing without windower, reinstalled ffxi, and sacrificed a squirrel to odin. That last one may have been embellished a bit, but nevertheless none of these ideas seemed to help in the slightest and I crash anyway.

My PC:
AMD Athlon 2.2 Ghz, ATI Radion X1600, gig of RAM.
Not overclocked at all as I was afraid that would possibly make crashes worse.

Any tips would be lovely
