I lol'd at the 1st poster saying 2-3m. A new item like this will always net much higher whether its shit or not because usually its 1 ls killing it on every server.. Shit I remember my bahamut days when FI(the only ls to attempt Cerberus when it 1st came out) would sell Algol for 50m (inflation days) and people would buy the hell out of it.

I said 2-3m because that's the very max I'd pay, including the "new item zomg" tax. I didn't make any guess as to what other people would pay, nor what I expect LSs aiming for a profit to sell it for. All it takes is one person willing to pay 10 or 20 mil for the "sale price" for the first few drops to go that high. It'll settle down quick, much quicker than Algols, because the NM pops more frequently, the items aren't ex, and aren't as "good" as Algol. Call it 1m in a few months, with a permanent price somewhere higher than a Vermy.

As blm I wouldnt pay more than Black cloak price for that Cloak honestly. I wouldnt take it neither for Rdm, I dunno a things about sch or whm tho, but personally 2-3 million seems already overpriced for me, I could get a Hauby +1 for that, Maybe since it's new and some people like to show they have a biggest stuff between there legs than yours you could sell it pretty high, but I wouldnt spend more than 100k on it if you ask me.

Now I can see it seeling for 5-10 million for a rich scholar maybe. But really no one else will spend that much money on that I think.

/ontopic don't think I'd buy this for any job. If I was in an ls that killed it sure I'd take it if offered. But really it is only slightly better than vermy imo so not worth the money. Basically all jobs besides sch have a better refresh piece so might as well stick to vermy (I think vermy looks way nicer even though it's so old), until someone gets the better pieces on the way (nobles, yinyang, dalm, morrigan, etc.)

Even for sch like some said, all this does is replace the af hat. Hat + errant still better in most situations imo, and errant is much cheaper.



I wouldn't be surprised if this drops to under a mil within a few months after all the epeen people have gotten theirs and realized all they do is mannequin it.

If you are using it for anything more than Light Arts and stoneskin, then you are asking way too much for the what the stats are on the cloak. Keep in mind that in Light Arts, AF body is useless and AF hat is negated by the regen on the cloak. This means you will have +13mnd and refresh when in Light Arts. It's much better than +4int from AF head and +10 from Errant body.

Yes, SCH is in the same boat as RDM: 256 Enhancing skill (under Light Arts), so you need 95 MND total to cap it out iirc.

It's still the best piece to use under Light Arts. Good for cure potency and good for enfeebling. Aside from that, its meh... Now if it wasn't a cloak but a tunic.. that would be different all together.

This cloak is better than Errant body + AF hat for a helix INT build on non resist mobs for people who currently use this combination, because you sacrifice 1 int for 5 magic acc, a very worthy tradeoff. This cloak is great for soloist SCH's. I'm also with Kaeko on the side that I prefer a constant mp regeneration with a side dish of sublimation. Especially when PL'ing!

As for brd, this cloak is nice in brd/whm situations where fast cast songs on your pt aren't make or break (dynamis limbus einherjaws yatta yatta) and where you get smacked around decently. Combine this cloak with marduk hands and /whm for 3hp/tic normally. But you'll be a silly bard to get this to replace everything you have, it's situational!!! Who'd have thought.
