Dynamis Currency Price Jumping?

Has anyone else noticed the bazaar price of dynamis currency has skyrocketed recently?

Was wondering if anyone else noticed or had a good explanation besides "supply/demand". Are some people all of a sudden jumping on the Zilart Relic band wagon?

Fuck that. $30 for a mil. I'd rather go spend a couple of hours in sky and kill a few triggers for gil.

On Remora is hasn't changed in a while, Bynes are sitting at 5/6k, and O/T pieces at 8-9k

Gil was at 50-55/mil earlier this year. So the price has almost halved.

Whether or not we want to admit it, certain high-end items are best linked to their cost in RL money, rather than their value in gil.

Currency prices are always the same if you shout the lowish end. I havn't really seen them go up too much lately. Khroma has gone back up to about where it was pre-einherjar changes though.

well o.bronzepiece and t.whiteshell have gone up from ~9k to ~12k recently, bynes still the same old (*'-')/

I think the price is being effected by the availability as well, at least on Titan. A lot of people did jump on the relic bandwagon (clearly seen in that relic thread in advanced section), and it seems as though that has had a large influence on players who once felt a relic was far beyond their reach. Now it seems to be a bit closer so it's my opinion many players are holding onto currency, hoarding it in either the pursuit of something greater or a false hope (mostly the latter if you ask me).

I've shouted and scoured Sauromugue on a daily basis and I've gotten 249 coins in about ten days of doing that, which included two weekends. Currency is just becoming hard to find, so those that do want to unload it are selling higher than normally. A lot of those people are probably Dynamis Banks selling some to fund runs and such, for linkshells that do that sort of thing (also common on Titan).

With the possiblity of gil becoming less valuable due to an influx of winnings in the Moogle Bonanza, prices will probably jump again very soon.
