    Updating payment information in POL

    With all the account hacking problems I can understand if there are some problems with changing my current credit card to a different one, but I was wondering if anyone else was having the same trouble I am...

    I have 3 accounts, I was able to successfully change the payment information to my husband's credit card on the first account I tried (my own account, our oldest). I then went to change the payment information on our 3rd account (simply because it was more convenient to do that one first ^^; ) and I have gotten an error saying I cannot use this credit card to pay for services. Should I just keep trying? I seem to remember when my credit card expired a while back and I had to update info that there was some delay between when I could update each account on the same credit card... is that all this is?

    Anyway, any advice would be helpful.

    FYI - the new credit card is a Visa like my old one, but it is based in South Korea rather than the US.

    Best bet on this is to phone SE and ask them if there's a security measure implemented - it sounds to me that it has probably flagged your card as suspicious since you're changing the payment info on 3 accounts in rapid succession.

    For future reference, I tried the next day after changing my own account credit card and was able to change my husband's billing card to the same new card. Definitely SE has implemented something to slow down the RMT by not allowing too many changes in a short time. I may have waited longer than required (it may have only been an hour or two delay and I waited a whole day), but in the end I was able to change it eventually and that is all that matters. I didn't have time to change the billing info on my 3rd account before this month's changes went through, but it's not really a problem. I just didn't want to have to keep sending money to the US to use that credit card anymore.
