yet actually, obama does talk about "black" issues. He's talked about fatherhood problems in the black community, and of course his speech on race talked a lot about the black community. And if you want to talk about education (inner city schools) and poverty/welfare/etc (disproportionately black problems), then chalk that up for Obama as well. On top of it all, he's running for the pres of the USA, not the NAACP. Nader is blowing smoke (as usual).

To my knowledge, he only spoke specifically of "black" issues when prompted by the whole Reverend scandal, and even then he was accused of bringing race into the, well, race.

he recently spoke at a (different) church in chicago about black paternal issues. idk, I just don't see much in terms of specifically "black" issues (rather than broad minority or poverty or education issues) that would make a ton of sense to make central campaign issues.
