Starting anew

Unfortunately for me, I was stupid enough to trust a former friend of mine with my account while I quit for a while. I couldn't play, work, and go to school full time. Password was changed so I tried to get contact of him, nowhere to be found, ugh. I called SE a while back about this. I don't know what ended up happening to it, but I cannot get access to it. They said they were investigating and well I have heard nothing for a long time.

So here I am rock bottom, I find a copy of the 2007 collection, 15 bucks. I keep hearing negative things like 90% of players are all endgame now, and it's hard to start new. I know my way around this game, like the back of my hand. Would it really be that hard to start over? Most of my friends have quit playing, so I will probably find no help there. I really don't want to start over, but I really want to play again, this new content looks really cool and SE seems to be listening to us a lot lately. Any advice on where to head server wise? I just need a good headstart, I loved this game a lot and it's a shame I got fucked over but it's my own fault for being too trustworthy.

Any advice would mean a lot.

To give you a true advice, you should tell what zone you're in Euro/jp/Arabic/NA timezone. SOme server are more friendly for asian tiem, some are better for jp etc..

Personally, if you want to play that bad, then play. I know with me I started a new acnt and all of my friends quit and went to WoW or back to EQ. You will make new friends, trust me. It is fucked up you got your shit jacked, but it happens when that turn of events happen. If you land on Bahamut, let me know and I will help you out and try to send you a little bit of starting monies

Ironically I did have an elvaan, I made a Mithra this time though. I love the way they look in armor, well minus Byakko's pants.

I didn't even check this and I ended up landing on Bahamut. Larsa, Bloodmoses, and just about every fucking name I could think of was taken. So I named myself after the friend who jacked it, may as well jack his name, I always did like it.

I had a change of heart, despite the fact that a lot of my friends quit, I just can't stay away from Asura, it's the damn best server with a lot of memories. Besides I could probably bug Wafik now.

Character name is Kashihara on Asura, a hume male. I am starting with Windurst now, I only did Sandy and Bastok missions. I am really liking Windurst already though, it's pretty hilarious. Makes me wish I had done so in the first place.

I was thinking of starting over, but then again I have access to a friends taru thats got 2 75's (both melee) and bleh I'd want at least 1 melee char, but I don't know if I'd want to be a taru or start brand new though.
