I'd pay if I had to, and likely quit FFXI in the process if it can manage to snare me like D2 had, but Blizzard would truly be offering the ultimate in fan service if was free to play online, updated regularly, and kept cheat free. With the millions upon millions they've made from WoW, I'm sure they could spare the expense.

I also hope it's mod friendly.

Well with starcraft 2 also obviously needing online play I doubt they will be charging for battle.net and I suspect they will both be on it. Might even be a new battle.net and abandon the old one.

By the time is comes out a pretty standard PC should be able to run it.

Main Stage has the Dev Panel going on which is great for upcoming WoW stuff.
