No over-clocking yet just built the things last weekend and am still testing it out.

My olde PC which I played on when I got the game scored about 2000 tops.

I did a few tests so bear with me as I explain it all.
7142 - first test I ran on high with VLC player and a paused movie (String Wilderness, don't bother >.>)
7306 - second test, I closed VLC player
7530 - third test after updating video card drivers (from 8.4 to 8.7)
7593 - fourth test after shutting down and cleaning off my lint trap (aka Scythe Andy Samurai CPU Fan)
9477 - Last test on Low

Could be the fact that POL is updating in the background. ..I'm not kidding when I said I *just* built this system.

Can't have anything else running in the background. I just had VLC player running and it cut my score by 150. POL updating while significantly hurt your score

Ahh, thanks for the input. I'll check to see what it posts after that. My previous computer was a 6 year old Dell that I tossed a 6600 GT in. I'm sure this will be a large improvement.

Higher bandwidth RAM, faster CPU.

Improving either might necessitate the need for a new motherboard.

I bet a 8600 or 8800 + a reformat would get that machine up to 4000/2700 at least. But if you're in the market for a new pc you'll be happy with a change.

LOL I had to try it out on my computer at work! Quadro clearly is not the best gaming card. But the quality of the 3D images in the benchmark was fantastic. :D

Here are my results:

All drivers and windows were updated before the Benchmark. XPC Tools was used in conjunction to find drivers. The above results were ran with Windows Aero enabled, however it did not affect the scores significantly if Aero was disabled ( Results for disabled Aero: H= 8730 | L= 10,878 ). No hardware is overclocked.
