    Force IP reset on Router

    I want to reset my Router's IP address for my whole house, may anyone know how to do it? I am using a Linksys Router

    Unplug you modem from your router.

    Push the reset button on the back or underneath for 30 secs.

    Wait for the Power and WLAN lights to come on and you are done.



    ***Note: This will reset your router's configuration. You will lose all blocked/open ports and will reset your admin password and login.***

    Edit: I think this is what you are talking about. If not plz explain a bit more.

    You can change a router's IP address yes. Just check the admin/configuration bits. Or reset it to factory defaults via the method shown above me.

    Otherwise, if you mean the IP provided to you via your ISP, you may be able to change it simply by unplugging and waiting and then replugging, but in most cases I've tried I've gotten the same IP.
