Tinnin: i noticed he will spawn the 2nd head if he reaches 25% , even if you try to zerg him. Having said that , the whole fight took us 7-9min each with having (2x sam/nin 2x war/nin) as DD/tanks with thier support.

Update my original post cause the forum change made it look horrible. Also, I have noticed one more thing about Sarameya which I'd like other groups to check out as well. It seems as though its howling is linked to its TP moves. It always goes like this.
Howl > Ulation > Firaga III > Magma Hoplon > Howl
When below 25%, Firaga III is replaced with Gates of Hades.
Now, over the course of at least 20 Stuns from various jobs(RDM/DRK, BLM, DRK) as well as a few Weapon Bashes and Shield Bashes, none of them proc'd while it was between howls(at least while its HP was below 25%). We didn't exactly have an army of healers and thus it was tearing our melee apart, which led to all sorts of problems. However, upon discovering this, our melee were able to anticipate Gates of Hades when they saw the first howl and could easily get themselves of range before it went off. We were able to Stun the random Gates of Hades that weren't between howls, it was just those ones that were causing havoc.
I'd like any other groups who fight this to observe their stun procs in both situations(between howls and not) as well as if there is a difference in howl stun rates below and above 25% HP.
Dunno about stun, but dispel resist being totally gay uner 20% on blm/rdm probably got us killed last time. We went with 11, and wiped twice before giving up. It's not hard, and could have done it, but but 2-3 failled dispel in a row was regening it too much.
Definitely immune to stun between howls, ele seal stuns got resisted.
As for not-between-howls, we didn't stun him a lot (maybe 10 times total? A lot more if you include shield bashes) but never saw a resist, so if he builds stun resist, it's slow.
Thanks for the GoH tip, saved us a lot of curing having the melee run from those gates.
Yeah, Drex and I were fighting this and this tip saved our asses many times! It is completely immune to stun when he's howling, so only letting the tankse at Gates was much easier on the MP pool! Thanks for the tip Mojo! Yet again, your ideas/observations have saved Drex and myself headaches.
great topic. Just wanted to say thanks for everyone for the information. We did 5 Tinnins last night easy prey with a bunch of BLMs MBing. 2/5 fang!
Tyger DOES build resist to Stun, it takes a bit but don't stun until Fulm time. People who said he doesn't, fail.
So we are currently fighting Nosferatu again, and he cured III our pld and then cast cure V on himself and took damage. Is this normal?
Probably going to attempt a Tyger soon..
Going to probably have SAM, THF, SMN, and 3-6 BLM as DD
Will 2 NIN/DRK tanks be ok?
Blm are not a very good reliable source of dmg on Tyger if you compare to any smn or melee dmg. 3 is enough for stun Fulmination.
just done 4x cerberus ( sarameya ). all i can say it was all smooth and quick kills which is under 15min and with 4 DD war/nin x1, sam/nin x3 .
anyways on the 4th one we had to sac pull him after we wiped. He tend to shift hate on the first person that does any action on him after a 1 of the howls under 25% , we tried to figure out why and how, but failed.
all i noticed he would do howl but doesnt do GoH , he will just completely target a random person and run around...
We just had a terrible fucking time with Sarameya. I highly recommend you make sure your DD knows to get the hell away when it howls under 26%... 1~2 people eating Gates of Hades instead of 5~6 makes a hell of a difference. However, after exhausting all of its Chainspells before wiping, 100% stun resist on the last try after we got it around 15% put the nails in the coffin for that run. Such a waste.
I have a question, isn't Gates of Hades a TP move? (At least on regular Cerberus)? Why is it that it does "Chainspell Gates of Hades"? Or does that just mean, that during it's Chainspell phase it uses Gates of Hades a lot, but doesn't literally "Chainspell" it as it's a TP move instead of magic? Or, does Sarameya CAST Gates of Hades as opposed to using it as a TP move?
Sarameya's chainspell is special and allow it to use its WS instantly (no build up animation). It literally uses "chainspell", followed by fire based spell and weapon skill.
I see, thanks for letting me know. Seemed odd so I just had to ask or it would've kept bugging me x.x
For the Tininn fight, can someone list off the dmg done by the SAM skillchain + MB? as in...2k between the 2 sam (WS + SC effect) and 6k between the 3 blms?
Trembling rapes...800-1600 dmg, don't let it draw you in. Seemed to be quite resistant to melee damage as well.
