How the fuck do you get killed by the one thing that you can totally avoid?
Who the fuck wears a hat to a roller coaster?
wow....
How did he manage to get decapitated, though?!
Reading the article helps to understand that.Originally Posted by Lexa

Obviously the train made contact with him but the article doesn't say exactly how. The old man groundskeeper got kicked in the head as people went by, but I doubt the kid got his head punted off.Originally Posted by Boyiee
I'd be pissed if some retard wrecked my day, cause you know it made some huge ordeal. All the people that were gonna ride the Batman are now spread around all the other good stuff, and I doubt many people had to leave the park due to trauma.
Imagine watching your friend get decapitated right next to you; that'll fuck you up for the rest of your life.Originally Posted by The article
Honestly, what the hell did they expect sixflags to do? Having to hop fences that say "Warning: Danger" not enough of a warning to some people?State officials blame a faulty cable and slow response by an amusement park ride operator in the accident. Her family is suing Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, claiming the park failed to maintain the ride and equipment and ensure riders' safety. The amusement park has denied liability in court filings.
And "Rider's Safety"? The teenager involved was OFF the ride already. He TRESPASSED into a restricted area that had several warning signs on the fences he hopped.
No, it really doesn't - the article only says he was decapitated. How does a rollercoaster with "upside-down" carts going 50mph end up decapitating a guy? If he was underneath it, he'd get kicked in the head by people's feet, at best by the seats they're sitting on, which I'd have think would have knocked him down, not torn his head clean off. Did he somehow get his head/neck squeezed/jammed someplace?! 'Cause I mean, it sounds like this kid was max unlucky in addition to being stupid enough to jump the two fences.Originally Posted by Boyiee
PS. I agree that the park is not to blame in this incident.
^This. Stupid people don't realize it will fly off you head at the first descent.Originally Posted by Ohemgee

My plan is almost complete!
I find it quite funny that they talk about past accidents more than this one, even though this one seemed to be the worse.Originally Posted by Eaglestrike

One would assume since they brought up no other riders injured, that his head was lopped off by someones leg or something yet again. No riders injured
Police said the ride was going full speed when the teen was struck. The ride's top speed is 50 mph, according to the park's Web site.
No one riding on the roller coaster was injured, Sheth said. The teen was with another boy who also entered the restricted area but was not injured, Pierce said.
As for how decapitation could happen from this. It doesn't take much force to break the neck, nor the muscles in it. In fact most body parts don't take much force to tear off (I think the penis is 12lbs of force, lol, a baby or small dog could do that). His head being decapitated could mean a lot of things, it's very vague. Some of the decapitations I've seen at work are still decapitations even though the head is still "mostly" attached to the cervical spine. 50mph of force is quite a bit, whether from contact with someones leg, shoe, ankle, or especially steal, getting knocked out is quite unlikely. That calls for broken neck easy, which is at that amount of pressure at least paralysis, and if it was somehow lower on the body, lots of internal injuries and probably high space shock. Getting hit by the coaster might be a 1 in a million thing to happen, but surviving the hit is very unlikely.
