Blizzards tech support has always been pretty quick and really helpful in my cases though, but I think that is why they made it a keychain, if you lose it it also means you lost your keys. I don't think I'm enough of a nerd to wear this on my keychain to work, soooo the chances of me losing it are pretty good. So you do raise a good point. Just gotta keep it in a safe place that you have easy access to.

I never understood this mentality. It's a fucking keychain. Everyone has retarded things on their keychains and it doesn't mean they're nerds/dorks/morons etc. My parents have one with pics of their kids, my cousin who went to malaysia has a touristey keychain, hell I got a fluffy spyro the dragon on the end of mine + 2 usb sticks (although I should really merge those into a bigger one).

On topic : Yes this is a great idea for blizzard to do. All purchases of the WoW box from now onwards should have one of these on them each imo.

They collect twice that every month. I'm pretty sure they aren't just trying to make a quick buck.

And they're not selling this 'for retards' either. The game itself provides sufficient security tools for guild banks to minimize exposure, and if those tools aren't properly used then the fob isn't going to save you from some malicious person you actually know from cleaning it out. This is meant to be the solution for the 1-5% of people who have actually put in all the required effort to secure guild banks/shared/bought accounts and now only have themselves and maybe 3-4 officers to worry about in a guild of dozens. If they're hacked they're screwed and that's been true since day one of WoW. The fob is a way to make sure their account information is not the weakest link in guild bank security any longer.

I have to swap keys a lot for ambulances and attach other keys to mine a lot, so I have really nothing on my key chain except for 1car key, dog clasp (whatever its called), house key. My old set of keys I had some more cool stuff on - and it's not that I feel ALL things on keychains are nerdy or gay or whatever, but something wow-related to me would be. It's not the best thing for a nurse or some other hottie to see dangling on my belt. I guess I just don't feel, even though everyone seems to play an mmo nowadays, that it's accepted. I wouldn't mind a cool fluffy spyro on mine though.
