Logging Question of archaic lore.

I was not sure if this belonged here, or in the crafters section, so forgive me.
But, I do have a question. I have only the gloves of the field set. Is it worth it to even attempt logging
if you don't have the full set, or should I go ahead with it all? Just want a few opinions, thanks ^^

it's worth getting all the pieces, every bit helps. it's also still worthwhile to log without all of them.
