A buddy of mine recently had his hacked account rolled back and didn't have his marbles. Lucky (unlucky) for him he wrote em down and told me his numbers when he got on.

Turns out he had a rank 2 marble.

Anyone know if the 1-time item restore could get him his marble? Or is he just SoL?

Isn't account roll back the same thing as the 1-time restore?

Ruke: another possibility that crossed my mind was that they purposely chose the most populous digit for xp scrolls and randomly selected the rest.

Because the other numbers are fairly consistent in being reasonably near to 7 x 10^rank

Actually that doesn make a lot more sense, both mathematically and with how they'd think. More people getting at least some form of a prize, which (in theory) would make more people happy.

I didn't even think of that, but seems like it could be true too. I kind of wish they told us how many total entries they had.

if they did this every month it wouldnt be overkill on ridill's, haubs, haute's, u name it. this would be the suggested method of a monthly drawing to give someone the chance to get those items without having to sit at a camp for over 2 years. que the taru pushing the boulder pic.

Ironically, i sold all my HQ gears to lvl BC to 100 & craft my way to relic just before i decide to quit 2~3 weeks ago. ^^;
