The reason for the speed is because not everyone has gotten a chance to log in. Give it a full 24hour cycle, considering how many people play casually / at night.

I got a behe hide, to give to solsovly to turn them into a pair of smashed dusk gloves (then buy a hide for what, 50k? to make shoes)! Go go more toys for haste/refresh cycles.
