SE gonna look and watch for the player who traded the MOST Alexandrites to the NPC by next version update. That number will then be set as total Alex to get for all players.

The point is, if this is truly a 50,000 Alexandrite requirement then it's not worth doing. Period, regardless of what the final relic stats are.

We've crunched these numbers before. 5 Alexandrite per day is equivalent to 27 years. 17,000 currency (a good average for Dynamis) at 400 currency per week (a low average) is 42.5 weeks, which is only .81 years.

That makes a Nyzul relic require 33.3 times the commitment of a Dynamis relic, and we already know that they won't be as strong. You can't possibly tell me that any feasible item in the game would be worth that kind of commitment. I don't care if it has Haste +25% and ocassionally attacks 2-3 times on top of 100 base damage.

Well every speculation about Nyzul Weapons is like speculationg about AV.


I have a strong feeling that next Ver Update might have the promised Rellic Weapon "upgrade" in together with the finished Nyzuls.

If they released the Nyzuls this update they would also have feeled they needed to bump Relics.

Good job on the 500. However just because you didn't pay for it doesn't mean the Alexandrite has no value. 500 Alexandrite going by average server value of 10K each is 5m gil! Ok carry on! 1000 go go!

That's 500 in roughly a month, right? So that would be 100 months if you buy some and all the gems go to 1 person, assuming that's what Alma's doing. Only 8~9 more years to go!

Also the new Weapons are all single job only. Weapons for jobs like DNC or SCH would prolly be nonexistant..... some of those new WSes look too sweet to not be in game

Even if there's no trick to amassing gems and the Empress did her math correctly, I'll still hold out for drop increases/higher denominations/means of multiplying alexadnrites by the next patch. This would, of course, confirm the suspicions of those who suspect SE put forth an impossible task just to keep the few people with 200,000 tokens and 40,000 ampoules from finishing the upgrade "too soon." That's just fine, though; any progress made before then is a head start!

I want to see what happens at 2500 at least. Better yet, include an alexandrite question on the list for the upcoming interview. AS IF THAT'LL GET US ANYWHERE.

We were doing bhaf farming last night, and decided to kill the rampart since we have the shittiest luck of all time for nms from those devices that were hand carved by Satan himself. We did get an alexandrite from it. >.>
