You will only need exactly 1456 Alexandrites. We recommend to farm Silversea Remnants for it on third and fourth floor. If enough of our JP customers give us feedback that this step is too hard we will lower the requirments. Additionally there is a trick where you can trade Alexandrite to (G-9) in Caederva Mire on the Leujuam Sanctum Staging point map and it will spawn a frog NM once every tally that will double your Alexandrites. Also for the last step of the weapon creation you will need 10 Light Ore, 10 Dark Ore and 50 Elemental Ores of a different kind depending on your weapon type - please buy them early. If you have any more questions please ask, we got time all day. It´s a pleasure to be able to give this interview.

There are many people complaining about the harsh requirements for Balrahn’s weapons.

Ogawa: That opinion certainly is prevalent. The quest now is just the first half, and once we implement the second half, we will look at adjusting them as a whole.


So there’s still a second half to be completed. Don’t tell me it will be even more difficult than the first.

Ogawa: It is mostly there to close up the story, so it will not be as difficult as the opening half. We do understand there are severely high requirements in the first half, and we will look into it.

It might make sense that maybe the total number of alexandrites might lower as each item is turned in, kind of like Paparoon appraises the item you give him at 20,000 Alexandrites or something stupid like that.

How have you gone about collecting so many so soon? On my server, idiots seem to think they are with 20k+ each even in light of the immenent incease in supply promised by SE. Theres no way i will buy unless they become a reasonable price

I don't think it's possible to get the eyepatch yet for anyone. I've been doing einherjar since the very start, yeah I missed a couple runs/few fails on tier 3s (this is pre-ampoule patch, we haven't really lost post increase) I'm currently at 72220 ampoules, with an odin on friday, so i'll be around 75k. I'm pretty sure, if you've gone since einherjar was created, never lost, you'd be somewhere around 85k. I'm close on the book too, about 120k tokens, but haven't started the assaults yet.

Your progress is incredible, I hadnt realised that you have already completed all the log books. How are you looking with your Ichor and Nyzul Tokens? Im pretty sure you will be one of the first to weild a Mythic at this rate.

I'm at ~51000 ampoules now, and I just restarted Nyzul with ~20000 tokens on hand and a 96F disc partner who agreed to let me leech him dry. Alexandrites aside, tokens will be the biggest issue since I've blown most of my Assault memoir AP on extra-static Salvage runs. I can only afford to do Nyzul five times a week with two tags left for Salvage static AP. If my Nyzul group is equally likely to do any boss floor per tag, about 1200 tokens on average(?), I'll need to do at least 108 Nyzul at 5 runs a week over 21-22 weeks-- about 5 and a half months.

I wish I could only do floor 100 for a delicious 1501 tokens each tag, shaving the time down to about 17 weeks. In a perfect world, where you could selfishly disband your Salvage static without repercussion, I could rake in 130,000 tokens in a little over 12 weeks doing Nyzul on every tag.

However, none of this accounts for the Fanatics' Drinks from the vending box or any mistakes made along the way, BUT I'M TOTALLY COOL WITH LOWERING THE WYRMSEEKER COST AND/OR RAISING THE TOKEN REWARD, SQUENIX.

Well it seems like you have a really supportive group of friends who are all focusing on achieving this as quickly as possible, its a difficult balancing act to achieve depending on where your priorities and commitments lie but the more i think about it, as long as you have a good assault static and a competant einherjar shell, it should be possible to complete a Mythic by this time next year for quite a few people, myself included (Fingers crossed). The only unknown quantity at this point is Alexandrites. Roll on next update so we can see where we really stand with all this. Im thinking 5000 may be the figure, who knows tho.

There is a significant bonus for going above and beyond the required 5 floor requirement for disc flagging in nyzul. People keep quoting extremely low averages of tokens per tag, such as your claim of 1501 for a lvl 95. If you can push for 6-9 floors, you can expect well over 2000 tokens per tag, especially for higher floors. From a 95 run, we got ourselves to floor 3 or 4 at one point, and received somewhere around 2800 tokens. Our "conservative" average for floors over 40 is 1500, while we usually see 1800-2200. Push through a little harder and faster, and you should be fine Alma, and significanly reduce the number of runs you need.

Also, you don't really need fanatic drinks and body boosts do you? Bosses aren't that hard - should be able to take them out without it, and save yourself some tokens.

Never saw this confirmed anywhere, the assault books is just like getting captain again? ie you do all 50 assaults over again trading the book to the rune of release. can more than one person trade the book, or does trading it end the assault? Is there anyway to confirm which ones have already been done?

sorry for all the questions, this step is rather vague and you're the first person I know to have completed it. I'm waiting for the final stats before I decide what weapon I want otherwise I would've started this already.
