Corwen is on of the coolest dudes around who just took advantage of SE's system. Not like anyone else has done that, amirite?
Btw, good luck convincing him to get Kikoku, I know alot of people have been trying to convince him for a while.

This is ridiculous. To everyone saying he shouldn't get his gil and items back: are you fucking retarded? I guess your mother missed the memo where she wasn't supposed to shake you. Regardless of where the sash came from, the other items were his, and as far as we know, obtained legitimately. Even if SE decides to delete the Sash, which they wouldn't be wrong to do, IMO, it's entirely simple minded to think that he doesn't deserve what he paid for it back. This isn't a church, stop playing the moral righteousness card like you're some kind of deputy for the Ethical police.
Touche.
Also, if you buy a stolen car, do you get your money back? Probably not ... though I'm really not sure on this one. Methinks if you buy it knowing it's stolen, you might just get accessory charges. Once again, not really sure on that one. Bottom line is, if you bought something you knew was stolen, you don't deserve to get shit.
Then again look at it this way,
The sash is the best waist piece for any Damage dealer hands down, and it can be used on any job. So he decided to level a job that is not ninja, guess what he can use it there! His kikou is emoing out in his mog house. The sash is a better investment for all jobs, where a relic is a single job investment. Gungnir Dragoons who don't play Dragoon for the win.
And personally I would have hoped before buying this he called a GM and asked about the rollback service and items from those accounts. Atleast I would have.
If Auronku gets his account rolled back, what then? If you bought a stolen car, and the police working on the case created a car for the original owner out of thin air, why should anyone else care where you got the car from? It's an entirely separate scenario, real world legal systems have nothing to do with FFXI.
I don't see how he can get anything rolled back> He broke SE's policy by sharing his account information. He didn't get hacked by rmt. No rollback, rich woodworker keeps his sash , period. Nice epeen you got there, fuck the NIN make it around a dd/zerg DRK build.
Edit: ya umm lv DRK don't be a douch.
As though no one would possibly report him and give the STF the link to this thread. I'm really not putting it past someone to do just that.
you people seriously think he is a "bad person" for buying possibly the most rare thing in the game because he had the money?
SE TOS isn't the law, and even if it were, there is nothing in there that says there will be punishment for buying stolen items.
Even so, in real life, if you know you are buying a stolen car, you can go to the cops and they will right the situation. If you called a GM about the sash, they would tell you to fuck off.
