On second though, yes this is probley RMT in the sense that the person selling the Sash just might sell the gil for real money. But that's where it stops. This is 99.9% probably not related to all of the hackings. Chinese RMT don't name their characters to taunt the people they've stolen from.

In regards to whether it was RMT, I was told a mule called Odixxxx something was spotted in the zone during the time it was going on. I was asleep at the time and people were attempting to contact me and GMs unsuccessfully. Let's just leave at it could be mine and it's probably RMT k?

Usually? What are you basing that claim on? Let me think of the people I know who have been hacked on Odin. Aace, Spiritsand, Akanea, Glacian, Blaize.

Of them, I think Aace is the only one to have made any forum posts about the incident. We have no idea how many jackings occur that we never hear about. The average FFXI player probably doesn't immediately think "Crap, they stole everything off my character; I better go alert the BG forums!"

This is not a 'unlocking because these people have the potential to screw more people in their quest to hop servers and be stupid,' this is a 'unlocking because we feel like poking a stick at the person who just lost the absolute rarest item in the game and it's just fun to watch train wrecks.'

Auronku deals with things in a different manner than most people. Believe me, I railed at him for most of Saturday when he told me the news, telling him everything I could throw at this in order to get this taken care of, and he refused. The least I could do without disrespecting his wishes was tell y'all in IRC so people could just keep an eye out and we could possibly find it... and maybe somehow, do something about it.

Was the mule witnessed trading things to you? from you? or just in the same zone? Shit, I sit in the same zone with gilsellers if i'm fishing half the time. That doesn't mean anything except exactly that. poidh, etc.

and, to be fair, there are plenty of NA RMT out there...

And again, I'd of rather the thread stayed locked so this could be put to rest already, but people are curious wtfever. Noone else was in bastok, people noticed my character on when I'm not normally on and I wasn't responding so rightfully so they got suspicious, and a Odi____ person was spotted in the zone. I logged in naked at the delivery npc and immediately went about getting it locked. I did inform other linkshell leaders when it happened and told them to keep an eye on bazaars. I have little faith in GMs after what transpired so assuming it got off the server it was going to be difficult to prove anything considering 90% of them don't have a brain.

EDIT: The last thing I want is ya'lls pity. It's my fault, I've dealt with it, and I'ma move on now. I'll be ok, promise!

The way I see it, Ashira and Auron are drawing even more attention to this by the way they are acting. No one on BG is sadistic enough to hope that Auron doesn't get his Sash back, we all want justice to be served - but believe me, ALL of us are curious enough to want to know what happens with this situation from here on out, because it's a very unique situation. This has never happened before and hopefully will never happen again.

The reason why people want this thread open and are giving it attention has nothing to do with Ashira or even Auron - but it has everything to do with the Sash.
