Unfortunately it still gives me the 15 minute error. I'm pretty sure the game does indeed have issues running on Vista. The vast majority of Vista users on their forums get the same errors as me, while only one or two actually claim to be able to get into the game at all.

I do take solace in the fact that this is essentially screwing their closed beta though. They only allowed 5000 keys, and a bunch are being used up by Vista users who can't play, hehe.

No luck still. From what I've read on the forums, the game is horribly broken right now anyways, so I guess not much is lost.

Honestly, these GamesCampus people in charge of porting it over to the US market are terrible, and will likely be the death of the game.

I'm not sure how you break all of the quests and most of the classes just by porting the game over, but I wouldn't be surprised if they broke any Vista compatibility as well. It's hilarious, as the game starts up, but for some odd reason you just can't connect to the server if you have Vista. (And no, it's not the result of the Windows Firewall, User Account Control, or Compatibility Settings)

Currently this game sucks until you can be different classes and there's an easier way to find people for quests and an easier way to track said quests. It's really a mess atm, gg gamercampus or w/e you suck at porting games.

I'm having trouble connecting to the server too and it's telling me to terminate the program. I'm running on XP as well. I didn't take the survey though or get a key if that makes a difference but I haven't found the need for the use of the key.

That's the error you get for not having completed the survey and entering the beta key at the end of the survey when it prompts you to. One of the first few posts in this thread talks about it, I have a link to the survey too, but unfortunately I don't think there's a way to get a beta key now since they are all out. You might try asking someone who is a vista user who can't play for their account just for the beta or something.

They said their holding all changes until a final build which will be used for the open beta or another closed beta, not sure yet. The period of closed beta now which lasts another 2 weeks or so is going to remain the same shitty game it is until then so nobody is missing out on much. After the 14th or so there should either be more keys or an open beta.

We'll see. This is GamesCampus, and they have nothing short of a terrible track record. I'm surprised SE gave them the rights to the game

lol I had the filefront page up for a few days now, ever since it opened, I was the 6th person to download it <_<

Finally installing it and went to do the survey, it accepted my key :D

You haven't missed much, half the stuff in the game is broken and doesn't work atm. >_>

Go to system and choose windowed mode.

Send me an IM when/if you get on Julian so we can meet up and maybe quest or something and exchange cards.
