Ok, not sure if this is all SE's problem or not...

I am unable to connect to either my, or my boyfriend's account; whereas he can log onto both of ours.

Not totally ISP related either... the mystery remains.

Getting POL-1160 here, but yeah pretty much the same situation in that I can't log in. AOL is my ISP.

I hate being English; not only can I not play regularly with NA friends or join NA shells, but lately my connection to FFXI has been really fucking shit overall (i.e. I can't go a day without R0'ing at least three times) and this kind of nation-wide inability to connect to the server is almost becoming commonplace.

seems to be a UK thing talking to friends in Norway Spain France and none are effected. they were saying Remora's server total went from 2100 down to 1500 in the space of 10 minutes. so a wide number of people per server have been booted off so it has to be at SE's end

I am with AOL UK, playing on US POL.

This seems to happen every once in awhile, call into POL support centers or contact GMs and make them aware of the problem. These things don't seem to last long.

While this topic is still alive, has anyone else from the UK experienced a considerable problem with regular disconnecting lately? I don't remember the last time I did Salvage/HNM fight/exp without getting R0'd. Funny thing is it doesn't seem to happen in places with really high levels of lag (such as Campaign or Dynamis), but I can pretty much predict it'll happen at least once when I'm duo'ing with my friend in the Mire.

It only started happening a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty certain I've not messed around with my router or done anything that could possibly be directly related to it so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

All fine here, except minor/random disconnections from router due to me being on wireless and router placed somewhere incredibly reasonable, out of my control.
