Note about new forums 7/5 (Updated)

Is there a way to change the way number of pages are displayed on the forum layout? Like the old way was

xxx topic
pages 1,2.....34,35

but now it only shows the first 3 pages then a "last page" option. Is there a way to go back to the old style im not seeing? or is that gone?

I think that's something that the mods have to do. Don't worry, they'll get around to it after they take care of more important stuff, I'm sure.

anyway to get icons for when posts are in a thread, the little envelopes on all of the skins sucks hard. circles with checks/empty/x's was so much easier to see.

Anychance there's a skin for vB that emulates phpBB's subSilver2?

It's the only one I found I could stand. All the current ones are a little hard on the eyes or are too distracting/cluttered as they currently are,
(on my monitor at any rate)

If anyone is interested, the current forum sets the default posts per page (inside of a thread) to 10, old PHP forums were 30, you change change this in your profile.

Now to find a way to see if you can increase the posts per forum >.x usually dont have to go page 2 to see new posts.

Is there any particular reason why you guys are forcing a particular style on certain forums? (i.e. I'm forced to use the Jedi style on the spam forum.) Those of who browse at work probably would catch more attention with the odd colors. The standard/default style makes it easy to blend in with our 'normal' work screens.

a set skin for spam has been the norm, but Ill probably go lax on it, just messing around for now

also: added a bunch more skins, the default skin is very subsilverish but the direct port of sub isnt finished yet

Is it possible to replace the chocobo icons on the default skin with the regular vBulletin ones Q_Q? The chocobo ones are kinda tacky with the rest of the skin and the default ones make much more sense.

I am a computer noob so I apologize if this is a retarded question. Is there any way to make it so when I read an entire page of a thread I dont have to scroll all the way to the top to advance a page/go to a different thread (besides forum jump)? That seems to be the only issue I am having...

it has to be in the "top" sig image apparently O_o

and randomly, didn't know phpbb3 had a soorta "limit" on posts. Theres like 3million posts dating back to Y2000 on the phpbb forums. Makes me wonder if my forums has a limit.... probably need to change it one these days although attachments will probably be lost doing so ;/ (That and the website is 40GB backup eeewww)
