That is freaking soon. Which gives me mixed emotions.

So uh...apparently they're redoing the translation. Whether or not this is good remains to be seen. On the one hand, FF6 Adv. greatly benefited from expanded dialogue. On the other hand, parts of it that where ingrained into my head stood out like zombies in a shopping mall on ice skates.
Oh wow, I haven't visited toastyfrog in years.
Bit of a necrobump, but Gametrailers posted some new...trailers!

Seems like they added a bit more than what I was expecting. New quests, and more than just 1 new area. I'm quite intrigued as to who that extra boss is now. Also, the dual screen controls look like it'll make combat a lot more fun. I'm even more stoked now to play through this for the 6th or 7th time!
Fuck, music made me all nostalgic.
Call me a foaming fanfag-mosexual, but that new shit better not be canon. :[
Heaven forbid SE actually makes a new IP instead of rehashing all their old games to milk us for money. I love most SE games as much as the next guy but its getting old. The merger of Square Soft and Enix software was horrible for the RPG industry. They constantly tried to outdo each other and now that they are one they just became this profit whoring company. They lost the spark that made them the top RPG maker for a good 10 years.
It's not the merging or anything, it's the gaming industry that turned into this. Making a quality "next-gen" game cost too much and take too long, so they have to resort to this kind of cheap project to make steady profit.
Pretty much. The whole things becoming more and more like the movie industry, only even the little stuff's gunna be homogenized and commercialized.
Well the optimist in me is going to hope that if this does well enough, they may finally consider making a (real) sequel to this!
