Anyone know how to make ahriman use Eyes on me attack?

I started to make ahriman pets with the idea for killing elementals

so far got
Job: WAR/BLM

Innate: Magic Def. Bonus
Attack+15%

Added: Instant Shell
Instant Stoneskin
WAR job trait
Neutral Attack Bonus
BLM scroll(when enough FP)
total 80FP, with 5 leftover.

Assuming: Ahriman Trait= -25% Magic Damage
Magic def. Bonus Lv50= +50 Magic Def
Instant Shell Lv50= +25 Magic Def

this if correct will make ahriman almost immune to magic, and since eyes on me is magic damage and ingores m. def should be easy to damage elementals.

any opinion?

it's possible to have Innate: M.def Bonus + Store TP but it's very rare so i settled with attack+15%

What commands did you use to make it start using eyes on me with any consistency? I'm leveling one up now but all it uses is binding wave and airy shield.

right now I have him @Very wild/Very Aggresive and spam "dont think, kill!"

the ahriman though will only use eyes on me when the enemy is @30%HP or so, still figuring out how to make him spam it as he got TP

My Ahriman only seems to use Eyes on Me at low HP as well (Very Tame/Very Aggressive). Interestingly enough your Eyes on Me does more then mine (Mine only seems to do about 260ish), wonder if your attack bonus or Neutral attack bonus that makes it do more.

Isn't CHR a mod for Eyes on Me? It is for Blue Mages at least.

BLM job trait
BLM scroll

I plan to delete BLM job trait/Scroll and add in something else because as i see it, black magic barely goes unresisted on magical mob like ele and does not do very high damage

Mine can cast up to Thundaga without the scrolls. If you are concerned about damage don't remove the traits as they give +28 MAB. Also the reason mine has int isn't for the extra damage (though it definitely is nice).

I'd also think our Ahriman would have the same chr but it could always be something stupid like Cursed Sphere which is water based when used by blue mages but dark based when used by monsters. I'm wondering if only the Blue Mage version of Eyes on Me is Dark.

That can happen in Pankration if the target sidestepped from what I've seen. Is that what occured or was it a direct one that did reduced damage?

yeah sidestepping definetly reduce eyes on me damage

Just curious, from what you've seen, does it seem like Magic Defense caps at 50% just like players?

hmm not sure, i took 230 damage from freeze (lv50 Dark ele with lv50MAB and BLM JT)
usually freeze does about 1300 damage on normal mob

Where can I get a Magic Defense +30% plate? I've been trying a WHM Quadav (Garnet Quadav in Passhow_S) for a while now, but no luck.

EDIT: Nevermind. I got it off of him in about 80 shots.

This type of monster also gave some Magic Damage Resistance +15% (FP:30) plates. I wonder which of the two would be better. If there is an MDB cap of 50%, then the innate MDB+Magic Defense +30% would hit that limit. For the same 30 FP, the MDR+15% is a straight reduction in magic damage of 15% which is added to an Ahriman's already 25% damage reduction. There's so many ways to reduce magic damage (like INT bonuses), it's hard to choose the best combo.
