    Downloading new Drivers

I am currently running a 8400M GS Nvidia Video Card on my Laptop

I tried downloading drivers from Laptop2go, but it did not work. Said it could not find any video card of that sort blah blah, when the list says it does support 8400.

Any idea? Is there a specific one I need to get?

These are the drivers I installed on a 8400M GT laptop card the other day.

I assume they'll work for the GS too since it's only a little bit different from the GT.

Hm..that's odd, only thing I can surmise is that it's not a driver error. I had this kind of problem on my old Radeon 9000 series card when it went into software acceleration mode instead of hardware acceleration. Because it was software rendered it was all choppy like you describe. Have a look through your settings and make sure everything checks out or looks normal.

Hm..okay different approach, if you can go into the nvidia control panel and screenshot all your settings and post here (links or full photos - either suffice). Once we've had a look at the settings maybe we can find the cause.

EDIT: Just for reference - how old is your laptop? And is the OS 64 bit or 32 bit?
