SE: Sony, we'd like to bring FF13 to the 360.

Sony: Fine, but we want an exclusive FF7 remake.

SE: Sold!

Also cleared up that there will be no differences in PS3 and 360 versions.

Dont expect XIII to be released any time soon. They arnt finished with the PS3 version yet, when they are done with that, they will start on 360, and after its done in JP, they will do it all over again for NA.

first they will finish ffxiii in japan. and then they will start localization for english.

at that point, they will start the xbox 360 development.

they're not doing a 360 version in Japan.

The same engine that is being used for XIII will is being used for thier new MMO.
And thats Crystal Tools, the new name for the White Engine, and after these games it wont be used again.

SE may have some agreement with Sony not to release that info til after the sony press conference. I would say "where there's smoke, there's fire" regarding the FFVII remake, however, if that were the case, the 360 users would be looking forward to flinging around a wii60mote.
