I read into the IGN stuff more and SE said that they're going to try to make the 'localization' to EU and NA faster. I suppose that word is open to interpretation, but less than 9 months would be nice. The hierarchy seems to be JP PS3 > Start X360 conversion > NA/EU PS3 > X360s > Profit... though they said both versions would have the same features. Blah. Better not ninja in extra bosses or anything.

Well, a couple of months ago Wada said they were aiming for a worldwide release of FFXIII, but now that idea was definitely shelved.

I'm just worried that the localization can take even longer than usual since they want to release the 360 version at the same time.

9 months would actually be an improvement for EU, we usually have to wait a year.

And in regards to SE being stingy on interviews, it's related to why the company doesn't have official forums for FFXI. The higher ups in the company apparently have a huge issue with their developers being openly criticized or overly bothered in other ways by the by players.

I think Nintendo will announce another Zelda game today, and maybe even discuss an HD add-on for the Wii.

Sony...will probably fail. They will announce the launch of their PSN movie service. Unless they give us some GOW3 info. That's all I got...unless they reveal a FF7 exclusive remake (99.999999% sure this wouldn't happen though). You'd think they would want to release something big after yesterday.

My feeling was that the result of the announcement would help Microsoft's and lower Sony's stock. For Square I feel like it should produce short-term loses with long term gains, as the announcement fuels further speculation that the game isn't coming out anytime soon (which would force them to lower earnings expectations) but that ultimately the game would sell more and benefit them closer to release.

The best news from Nintendo would be the end of motherfking friend codes in favor of a universal gamertag and the implementation of god damn keyboard and voice support in all online games. A Zelda game that actually had dialog and voice acting would be nice too.

But in all likelihood I'm expecting them to announce WiiSmile or some bullshit that involves a camera where the object of the game is to produce a really big smile on your face with points awarded to whoever looks the dumbest, a game that is so stupid that its actually enjoyable when you're drunk, just like all of the other shovel ware on the system.

I know there's been all sorts of rumours about it, but I still find it hard to believe Nintendo will make Link talk. It'd just be... weird, even if it was just text he wouldn't be our same silent hero we've all come to know and love.

I'm hoping for some more info on that Wii RPG that was announced a while back (forgot the name), hopefully some decent looking new RPG's for either of the consoles too so I have something to look forward to on both. They're both gonna have to pull out some serious stuff to compare to Microsofts stuff.

It'd be nice to see a new franchise from Nintendo that isn't just a spinoff from one of the old ones. If they can show something decent that isn't Mario/Zelda related I'd be impressed
