E3 was going to suck this year from the get go, and it's only going to get worse from here on out.

Both resistance and MAG have all these players but then your broken up into 8 player groups anyway? What i get from that is you still wont have massive 128 vs 128 fire fighting type battles. You'll just have a chance of runnning into "different" opposing 8 player squads

One multi-plat RPG doesn't make it okay for your conference to otherwise look like crap. Sony actually did a good conference and had more than one reveal and almost no casual shit. This is how you do a conference. Well, maybe less "history of blah blah", but otherwise. It was good.

Nintendo and Microsoft got knocked the fuck out and Sony didn't even do that amazing. And it's stupid people are even giving Microsoft credit when it came out of a SE rep's mouth.

Anyway, MAG interests me greatly. It sounds like it's going to be very hard to pull off.

I would guess it's probably just broken up in 1 leader, 7 squad members per group. Squad members can only communicate with people in their group, Leaders can talk in group/with other group members.

It would make alot more sense then 128 people a side all trying to communicate over the same voice channel.

Killzone 2 has its own event at 6:30 est but all and all Microsoft won that E3. Sony didn't have anything to counter FF13 on 360 but it did have some nice stuff shown.

MAG is an awesome concept but like I said it'll never work out as well as it should because you're always going to have people who think they're fucking Rambo and blow any effort at actual strategic play.
