    Thanks for the comments about JiveTalk - I downloaded it this afternoon and am pleased.

    Didn't see if anyone had answered this, but yes, the MSN contact list on the Curve is updated automatically. There's no need to manually refresh it.

    this is the 450min plan which is decent for most. if your some fucking phone addict and want unlimited minutes its $139.99/month.

    the 79.99 plan includes;

    3-Way Calling
    You can talk with two people at the same time with a three-way conversation on your wireless phone. Airtime and other charges, which may include toll or long distance charges, will apply for all simultaneous calls until you end one call.

    Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones.

    411 Search®
    Directory assistance with automatic call completion. An operator will assist you when you request numbers, addresses and information for anything from restaurants and movies to the nearest florist. Simply press 4-1-1 and SEND from your handset. $1.49 per call plus airtime.

    Per-call charge for 411 Search may vary when your phone’s banner displays “Extended Network” or “Roaming”.

    Premium Calling Plan Features

    Premium Calling Plans include:

    * Unlimited Messaging with anyone in the U.S. On any network. At any time.
    * V CAST VPak for hours of content streaming right to your phone anywhere within the V CAST Coverage Area and access to over 2 million songs to download.
    * VZ Navigator for the power of a GPS navigation system on your phone.
    * Mobile Email on your phone, while you're on the go. It's quick and easy!

    Basic Voice Mail

    Voice Mail takes a caller’s message when you can’t answer the phone. You will receive a message-waiting indicator to let you know that a message has been left for you. Basic Voice Mail includes:

    * 20 messages
    * 3 minute maximum per message
    * 21-day retention

    For more capacity, you should consider signing up for Enhanced Voice Mail.

    Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to message retrievals from your wireless phone. IN Calling does not apply to Voice Mail set-up or message retrievals. Voice Mailboxes not initialized within 60 days (45 days in some markets) of feature activation will be canceled. Your Verizon Wireless Voice Mailbox is not password protected until you initialize it by following the tutorial prompts to select a password and record a voice signature and personalized greeting. Verizon Wireless is not liable for missed Voice Mail messages or deletions of messages from your Voice Mailbox, even if you've saved them.

    Call Forwarding

    Forward your calls to another phone number, including your home or office number. Your wireless phone will not ring until you deactivate the service. Airtime applies to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones. When forwarding calls to phone numbers outside your local calling area, you’ll be billed for any toll, long distance, and airtime charges incurred. Additional per-minute charges may apply to all forwarded calls. This feature is also known as "Immediate Call Forwarding".

    Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones. When activated, all calls will be forwarded to another number until deactivated. The wireless phone will not ring. Long distance charges may be incurred. Airtime charges may apply. Customers will be charged for one minute of airtime when activating Call Forwarding.

    Call Waiting

    This feature lets you know when another caller is trying to reach you while you’re on another call. You will hear a short tone. After you hear the Call Waiting tone, you’ll have approximately 30 seconds to answer before the second caller hears a standard message or is forwarded to your Voice Mailbox. If you answer the call, airtime and other usual charges will apply to both calls until you end one call.

    Not available in some areas. Airtime applies to all simultaneous calls and to forwarded/transferred calls even if you send the call to wireline telephones.

    Caller ID/Caller ID Blocking

    Caller ID allows you to see the caller's phone number before you take the call. Caller ID may display the number of the person calling on your wireless phone (for all unblocked numbers). It may also display the name of the person if you’ve stored it in your phone’s memory. Calls can usually be returned by pressing one button.

    Caller ID Blocking allows you to block your number from being displayed through Caller ID, and can either be done permanently or temporarily.

    Caller ID is not available on all calls, on all equipment or in all areas.

    Message Waiting Indicator

    If you have new messages waiting in your Voice Mail, Message Waiting Indicator gives you a stutter tone when you turn your phone on.

    Mobile Web 2.0

    Get the latest news, sports, and weather. Play fantasy football. Bid with eBay.® Enjoy Mobile Banking for Bank of America Online Banking customers, and more.

    Mobile Web 2.0 is included in all Nationwide Calling Plans. Megabyte charges apply on Basic and Select Plans. Unless you subscribe to the V Cast VPak, V CAST Mobile TV Select, or Premium Calling Plans, megabytes sent or received using Mobile Web (including advertising) will be aggregated each month, rounded up to the next megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB.†

    †Rates are rounded to the nearest whole megabyte. One megabyte is equal to 1024 kilobytes. Application charges apply in addition to charges for data sent/received.

    New Every Two®

    Get a new wireless phone every two years!
    Sign up for and maintain two years of service on a digital plan of $34.99 or higher to qualify for a free phone up to a $50 or $100 value, depending on the monthly access of your plan, or receive a credit of the same amount toward the purchase of a more expensive phone, with a two-year renewal.

    No Answer / Busy Transfer

    You can have incoming calls answered by another phone whenever your wireless phone is busy or remains unanswered after three to six rings. With this option, your phone will ring unless you're on the phone.

    When forwarding calls to phone numbers outside your local calling area, you'll be billed for any toll, long distance, and airtime charges incurred. Additional per-minute charges may apply to all forwarded calls.

    I went with the curve from Verizon, my Cousin works for verizon and scored me a great 140 dollar discount and waived the activation fee so 175 dollar savings in all!

    my plan is 59.99 for unlimited text and IMing, + the 29.99 unlimited internet on the blackberry + 5.99 warrenty shit. So like 95 bucks a month, 20 bucks more then what I paid when I had a sidekick but I'm very happy. I hope the reception is ok.

    I also DLed Javatalk and it's wonderful, thanks everyone!

    Do you really need the unlimited text package? JiveTalk uses data, not messages from your text bundle, so you should be able to save a few bucks a month if you switch to one of the lower priced text packages.

    (I'm assuming you got the $59.99 total from both the $39.99 voice plan + $20 5000 text package? Unless VZW offers an unlimited text package that isn't on their website.)

    But if you do need the 5000/unlimited? text package, just ignore me and enjoy your new toy.

    I will make this easy.. Basically for the people that want to add txt or data to their Verizon account just add $20.00 to any single line for unlimited text, or add $30.00 for unlimited text, data, and GPS VZ Navigator.

    The $129.99 plan people are talking about is the unlimited voice, txt and data with GPS.

    If you aren't going to talk much and just text, get the $59.99 for unlim text and 450min.

    Voyager is a great phone so is the enV2. The main difference is Voyager is touchscreen and can use java script or html browser instead of mobile web(which is mostly text based browsing.) The LG Dare is probably the phone I will be getting next just because it looks bad ass! :D

    Any blackberry MUST have the $29.99 unl. data plan, no if thens or buts.. where as the LG phones doesn't have to have the data plan and can just go with any calling plan.
