Wth is this on FFXIwiki?

Seeing as FFXIclopedia is already a full wiki, what's the point really? Most game information is already there.

I guess people feel bad using a wiki which took advantage of generous people's money. I know I would.

Also, they can have some pretty dumb moderating and rules. Personally, I used to love FFXIclopedia, but even before the whole scamming scandal was unearthed, I felt it became lame at some point.

my favorite recent charidrama has been when he got called out for editing peoples' forum posts. I was shitting myself with laughter.

and why? because they didn't use the proper punctuation. but apparently the way he re-edited something made it mean something it didn't

Half of it's wrong. On that account, a partially complete bgwiki probably has more correct information than all of otherwiki.

Keep in mind, this is the wiki that had mods defending the claim that paralyze could stop weaponskills.

QFT. Much better to just go to one website rather than go to one, be dissapointed that what I want isn't there, then go to another. To think that BGwiki is even a comparable information source to FFXIclopedia is delusion. Not to say I wouldn't switch, but right now I see no point.
