If you are comfortable with doing so, I'd wipe the curve and replace the os without the shitty preloaded apps. The phone has very limited memory. Plus, you can enable the locked themes. Also, get google maps, jivetalk, bberry411, operamini, and wlirc (if you're into that).

Memory on a CDMA Curve is not as much of an issue as on a GSM Curve. CDMA Curves have 96 MB vs GSM 64 MB.

I would if I knew how to. Verizon doesn't seem to allow the AIM app (BB Curve 8330) plus they lock fucking gps to vzw nav somehow... Ergh annoying but yeah so far its nice.

Tilt is a great phone, but ya be weary that its a huge phone. If ya like Window Mobile, awesome, u'll get alot of use of it. PDA phones tend to have a huge learning curve, if you dont get it intially, you will over time.

Vu is nice as well, considering its a small phone with touch screen capabilities. Very light phone, but damn for that same price, you might as well get Iphone, they should be floating around the same price for upgrade even outright prices. Down side, if you have been used to the Iphone touch screen you will be spoiled for it. Its a decent interface, but seems to be a little laggy. Then again LG makes phones not OS's, which Apple obviously has a strength in.

    N95!

    I love mine atm.

IMO Iphone for the price though I feel they aren't worth it in the long run unless you internet whore it. I know on the original Iphone you can gimp down your plan to no internet etc and just pay for the minutes.

I've been out of contract for over a year, I personally thought of getting the Iphone, but over 2 years I would be paying 600 bucks just for Internet. For me thats not worth it at all. I ended up getting n95 8b cause many of the features on the phone I would use alot, and I save around $200 in the long run.

BTW Try upgrading through the phone, most of the time you get better service. From my experience selling phones, the customer service reps on the phone tend to have ability to make shit work.
