We just recently finished a PW set, along with 3 extra Tinnin fangs and 1 extra Sarameya hide... And enough zeni to pump out quite a few more T4s for a potential 1-2 additional sets.

We'll be using the PW set sometime soon. Preparing to expect a 3-6+ hour fight or however long it may take.

I honestly think it's meant to be as bad as it seems to be, as far as it constantly re-spawning as different types of mobs. Which is why we're dedicating a lot of time to just the fight. We'll probably be able to go at full force for at least 6-8 hours, and if it's not dead by/before then it's just retarded.

We'll report on what we find out either way, once the day is done. I don't think I'd do an LJ update unless we won or something else big, but you can at least expect a BG update in the old PW thread or something by myself or one of the other members.

please do give a detailed report. since you know more than anyone else who's tried to take the bull by the horns, odds are good that you'll get further than anyone else has so far. even if you don't win the status of "we got closer than anyone else" is more than noteworthy. the more we know about what worked and what didn't, the narrower we can make the scope of this and eliminate jailerweapons/ebonpanel theories from the peanut gallery. you're only the third group (right?) to try and take this thing on and that deserves its moment in the sun regardless of outcome.

Re: Rocl, I study theoretical physics, theorizing about shit that might not even exist is my hobby, but pointing out obvious proven correlations, and being interested in the unknown variables would seem more like human nature.

7 Down was a repeat, 8 Down changed forms every time, 8 Up could be the same as 1 Up, or it might do something entirely different, it is currently an unknown parameter which interests me greatly.

If I had more stable time online these days to try and push for ZNM runs and pop it and test it, I'd love too, but at the least I feel obligated to mention that there is a variable which we know has an effect on his form changing, and a state for that variable which is untested, so go ahead and shoot me for it.

Would you mind posting your Tinnin drops? I'm a bit curious about something atm. Also GL with Pandemonium Warden. Hopefully my group will have a set soon(2/21 for T5 items).

The titles idea has flaws, but it has problems too, just like what I was suggesting, considering the lacking gadalar title, and ridiculousness of obtaining AC recovery titles.

Could both have a part, yes, could both be wrong, yes, could one or the other be the trick, yes, is focusing exclusively on one line of thought generally a sound method to approach things with?

That was never really 100% confirmed AFAIK. They may have been tired and got it confused with a long-bowed chariot. I mean, it sounds weird. You made the fight a little harder (I would imagine?) by not killing a lamp and you get punished?

Several people got owned but nothing too horrible. It was our 2nd and 3rd Tinnin I think, our first gave us some trouble however #2 and #3 was easier.

P.S: I think we might have triggers for Tyger and Sarameya soon. (The linkshell is RAWR of Kujata)
