MSN GS link spam.

Alright guys, just logged onto MSN messenger about 15mins ago, and a couple of friends told me that at around 17:00BST they were spammed GS website links from my account, running a vrius scan etc.. see if i can find anything, anyone else having the same thing happen?

British Standard Time. It's the offset for daylight savings in the UK (and Portugal, iirc?). During the winter months, the UK operates on GMT, and during the summer (or daylight savings) months, they operate under BST.

changed my password right after running a few scans on my computer, which found nothing. Having my friends who were spammed that if it happens again to record the link and such..

There are a number of things out there that somehow infect MSN, I've had to block like four friends from my list because they did something that now basically just trolls me with spams to go to this link or that link - not necessarily game related at all.

Whether or not it affects other areas of your computer, I honestly don't know.

Ppl need to learn that don't open any unknown link from friends, even you know them well. OP probably got virus or trojan from did that

this virus been around for a while. usually they say stuff like "hey, your hair was different in this photo"
