FOB and MCR guys should go on tour together, and then have the bus fall off the face of the earth.
whoops misread slightly
but mcr is still great
No they aren't. None of them are.
None.
you know you'd think a gorillaz fan could appreciate well-done pop music with a signature style and a clever image associated with the act.
I'm glad he's dead, because teenagers scare the living shit out of me.
This isn't good at all, people. If he really died, you're going to hear nothing but MCR for the next month.
People listen to the radio?
what shitty radio station do you listen to that plays MCR?
I never said I'd be listening to the radio. However everywhere you go does play radio. Stores, malls, restaurants, etc. There's also a jukebox at my job so I can only imagine the horror.
I'm not sure you'd recognize emo lyrics if they were tatooed on your inner eyelids.
the funny thing is a large portion of MCR lyrics involve gunfights, running from vampires/undead, drugs, some tongue in cheek teenage rebellion, with some catchy melodramatic choruses thrown in there. there's a heavy pulp comic influence overall with the band thematically, and musically its a mix of horror rock/pop-punk/classic rock.
okay, give me some emo lyrics subject matter, just ideas that are uniquely emo. this should be fun.
You act like all the things you said are mutually exclusive from being written about in emo fashion, but since you asked anything you want specifically?
Content, Bands, Albums, Song titles, snippits of lyrics?
p.s. Did you miss the point where even stated I liked their first album?

Comments:
"Ebaumsworld strikes again!" - Eric Bauman lol.
they were wearing makeup and dressing up circa their first album, and it's not like the second was that much of a radical departure (you could argue that if their second never happened and it went 1st->3rd)
my point with lyrics is that "whiny emo shit" isn't remotely exclusive to "emo" (as popularly perceived), but if you want to try and humor me, then go ahead.
