Pulling with Kurayami is a delicious spike right off the bat -- I tend to do Blind - Para - Slow since I can fit Jubaku around my shadow recasts.
I always liked Jubaku off the bat just because it can steal that first attack round buying an easy cast for Hojo/Kura...but I was also in the 'NIN to 37 and never fucking touching again' camp.
