I made no assumption, as I believe your post clearly speaks for itself. Drawing distinctions after the fact does not do anything to change your original statements. If you did not misspeak then I stand by my original statements.

I would just like to point out that my first post was in reference to the presented notions of monopolies and capitalism, and I just offered an alternative opinion on the situation. The only time that I specifically acknowledged you was after you denied that you found the situation to be acceptable in retort to a general statement about the activities involved. I believe both of our posts speak for themselves on that issue.

As you seem to want to turn any discussion with me into some kind of forum brawl, and since this clearly is not the place for such activities, I will leave this as it is.

I agree with Shuemue. It's not like what they are doing is right. That is why I don't advocate buying it from them. It is just a simple fact of the game. If it isn't them specifically, it will be someone else there camping. To expect the camp to be open is naive. You need to be prepared to fight for the claim regardless of whether people are being nice and fair or not.

I sold a few Joyeuses for 1m a year or so ago, but I can't imagine living down there killing it every pop, and I doubt that you could find enough people willing to buy it often enough to make it worthwhile.

I doubt their rmt a lot of jp have taken an interest on camping nm nonstop lately. Their is one in East Ronfaure (S) he has been there 5days straight comes back every few mins to check on nm. Best part is his name is sparetime.

You may have to give in and purchase the sword from them. Even know that sword is nice but it isn't worth 1.5mil ><.

Oddly enough, he's actually missed the last two windows. First one he was afk at the beginning and it popped immediately, second time he was in Dynamis-Jeuno as mentioned in this thread. It's a nice break from his methods (although his pet mage is still taking ToDs) and it means two legitimate players have got one recently (not for my lady sadly, but at least it's not for him <_<).

Wouldn't that technically fall under the category of griefing? They aren't keeping it and by doing so they are impacting players who are there for something other than monetary gain, aka, the fucking sword. I did, but I received the generic "oh, I can see that this would be very annoying, we will carry out an investigation" etc etc. I've filed a report with the STF then, citing examples like this as evidence that they are simply tossing the sword presumably to maintain their own level of business and income, so hopefully we'll see results.
