I really, really want to like this show. I really do. But we just wasted an hour watching Mohinder get captured. We learned nothing else new. Daphne doesn't count, we already knew she wasn't dead. I'm not saying having another lame Claire or Hiro/Ando story would have been better... but the pacing in this show is so retarded.

I was feeling the same way until the very last scene. It's good to see that Noah learned something over the course of the last couple seasons and is essentially undercover.

I liked this episode. It was clear that they were trying to rekindle the boost they got from Company Man. They fell short but it was still better than most anything else from the last couple volumes.

Hopefully, like Null mentioned, this will be a good start now that the old writers have started to contribute again. After all, if you ask most fans what their favorite episode is, they aren't going to pick one from volumes 2 or 3.

But the t=fact they used Isaac's loft... w/is in NY (?).. the fact they WENT back to his loft to shoot that scene was horrible.. and that it turned out to be another explosion painting.. Can they not come up w/new material for the show, is it that hard?
Seems everything in that episode was stuff we have scene before... "An episode that gives us a look into the pat reveals very little that anybody w/ 1/2 a brain wouldn't of been able to have alrdy figured out

Anyway, don't hope for the show's dynamic to change. Matt can apparently channel people now, Peter's power is about to change, Hiro gets his power back, and Ando's power evolves.

The show, methinks, has jumped the shark. Since when did Matt need to concentrate so hard on someone like Noah, who is a regular human? I would think all he'd have to is use his power of suggestion to make Noah tell him instead of ripping it out of memories that were stored a little over two weeks ago. It's not like it needs that much effort.

Mohinder's character is getting somewhat neater in terms of structure. Matt's is getting weaker because of his storyline with Daphne (who can't act like she's suffering or catatonic to save her life, literally) and Peter is still getting cooler.

The best part about last week's episode was Claire getting shot in the face 3 or 4 times. I wanted her to drop dead and be done. But no...

they just have to keep making stupid TV-Happy storylines instead of telling a good story.

Enough of the bomb on the floor crap. That's not a nod to Season 1. That's a slap in the face of Volume 4. Not only that, every season has had some stupid picture of a bomb blowing up a city. Enough. We get it. The heroes have to stop some place from blowing up or some place will get blown up.

I'm glad they got rid of the writers. Recycled storylines belong in Bleach. Not here.

I thought that was more of a symbolic rift representing the two 'companies' fighting each other, and destroying the planet as a result. Those companies no longer exist, so the splitting planet symbol no longer applies?

So does my memory suck, or is this another case of the writers not knowing their own show?

I finally got around to watching the webisodes, and in "Hard Knox" Parkman and Knox are chums, with Parkman commenting that he has known Knox since he was a "young punk."

Flashforward to Volume 3 where Knox punches a hole through an imaginary Parkman. Was there ANY interaction between Parkman and Knox here to indicate that they knew each other prior to Volume 3? It kind of left me scratching my head.

Knox was originally supposed to be a part of the Villains episode that showed the backstory between him and Parkman. They cut the storyline completely because it didn't "make sense".

Also, I just realized another problem with the show. Angela was telling HRG that she had to close the company down because she's sick of lies and there's no point to having the company anymore.

Then a few weeks later, she's telling HRG he has to lie and deceive.

God.

The writers are notorious for just making up storylines and not taking them anywhere. I think the writers have ADD and just want to make plot twist and dramatic moment after moment. Remember, none of the short stories connect. They're pretty much just filler and a waste of TV.

I read it more as giving everyone powers would destroy the world. The formula was destroyed for the most part so there's no reason to go back to that.

Laugh when people complain about things that arent a big deal. Say Amen when people post things that are 100% truth. And bask in the hilarity that is watching Heroes and reading/posting in a thread about it. If I was just watching the show and not coming here constantly i wouldve stopped watching after Hiro took Adam out of his coffin.

God, I had such cool ideas when I saw that image. I didn't even think it could be so mundanely, uselessly symbolic.

Note to Hollywood People: If you're going to add a level of symbolism, try to make it make sense on some other level. Especially in something where you turn your brain off like heroes.

I thought it was supposed to symbolize the actual destruction or at least wide-scale devastation(presumably caused by one or more powers). In at least 2(?) of the scenes from the future, it seems like there is some sort of blast-wave that is getting ready to obliterate everything. They may just run with the the company fighting idea however, if they even ever mention it again. They pretty much just ignored wherever Hiro was running off to when Hiro saw himself getting charged up by Ando.
