YES. I was thinking the exact same fucking thing. I though it was just my imagination. Definitely much hotter with her hair like that.

I think Claire didn't have as much or any extensions this episode. I didn't feel like investigating the matter further, but that's my guess as to why she looks more attractive.

Not a bad episode. But the plot line still moves too slow for me. I hated how they took twenty minutes to show a drinking contest to get some cash for Nathan/Claire. Quit spending time showing melodramatic relationship bull and do something cool! If I wanted relationship building I'd watch soap operas.

The first season was packed with melodramatic scenes and moments; It just made them work. Heroes has never really been an action show, it just had better stories that were told better. The plot structure of the first season was insanely great.

I agree. But that stuff was all right for the first season. We were new to the characters and it created a great background for the show. We got to know how the main characters came to be who they were. Now that it is years later I feel like I've seen all these scenes before. I know who the people are now and I guess I've moved on to wanting to see them now in their full potential. Oh well.

I dunno, I actually didn't mind Sylar too much. I felt really bad for the shapeshifter, because he was just trying to protect himself... and then he was begging for his life like a baby.

I hate feeling bad for people like that (yes I know it's a TV show).

I thought the scenes with Nathan and Claire were drawn out but really good. You can really the see the difference between Fuller's influence and the other guys. The story feels like it's taking a direction towards the better for a change.

Apparently Fuller really didn't have much influence with the last few episodes in thia season which gives me hope that the other writers are starting to get their shit together now that they have some serious competition.

I don't know what it was, but for some reason I thought Nathan was the shit this episode. Had to be the 5 o'clock shadow. And Claire looked cute as well. So I really liked all of their interaction.

That rumor has been around since before the season finale was even written. People just started speculating it when a shapeshifter was thought up. While I wouldn't mind seeing that happen, I don't expect much since it has just been fan speculation.

Again, I prefer 20 minutes between Claire and Nathan to 2 minutes given to everyone in the same time. I liked the sequence because there really hasn't been much interaction between the two of them. It was a nice parallel between them and Angela/Peter.

On a related note, Noah needs to watch his ass because he's quickly becoming expendable to Danko.

I agree on the Claire hotness thing. She looked a lot better overall last night.

Did anyone else laugh as much as me when Sylar said 'you don't chase a shapeshifter' and gave Danko a look like he was talking to a grade schooler?

Hayden has a different haircut, she has cut her fringe (in american this is "bangs") instead of letting it grow out with the rest of her hair, makes her look more 19 rather than 16.

I enjoyed the episode, I liked the interaction between the characters more then anything because it actually showed some character growth vs just making it happen as it suited the story. While I considered the Claire/Nathan & Peter/Angela scene's mainly filler, they were done pretty well and didn't come across as that wasted. I enjoyed the Sylar part, but he is just becoming to OP now. W/Danko working alongside him, he is just gonna become even more crazy OP then you can imagine. I know it was said that Peter's Powers evolve (I'd like to imagine that he can hold a few more powers at once), but I am beginning to think....

I really like how they portrayed the shape-shifter & how it's causes pain to change forms. Was a pretty realistic touch that they could of easily ignored.

That Danko kills Sylar in the end... & we don't get the epic showdown between Peter & Sylar. I mean unless they allow Peter to become OP, or at least also have claire's powers... then I don't see how anybody can stand up to Sylar in a face-off.

Yes, but it's been confirmed that Sylar dies at the end and a new female Villian is shown in the mini-enticement preview of Chapter 5 that they show at the very end. Who actually kills him is another story... I'd like to imagine Peter, but the more I see how OP Sylar is becoming I wouldn't be surprised if it was Danko or Noah tbh.

While them trying to play out the 5 years gone by episode would be beyond epic. Nathan is no longer in a position of power so there is very little reason for Sylar to want to take his form for political purposes like there was in the 5 years gone episode

Kind of off topic, but I happened to watch a Law & Order SVU episode the other day with Claire in it from when she was a little kid.

Anyway, I liked the episode, even if it was on the slow side- will be interesting to see how long it takes for HRG to figure out Sylar's alive & how Sylar's going to be using his new found ability.

After I had just about lost all hope for this show, it seems to be getting back on track. No more goofy plots & inconsistant characters (I hope).

I like everyone else didn't find the "filler" content to be too "filler", instead of being filler, it was actually involving. There was emotion between peter and god, peter and his mother, claire and her father. It didn't feel like "yawn when's the magic powers coming?" , it was actually like "Oh wow that was very insightful".

I'm very interested in anything involving Peter and his family, mostly him and his mother as I find them to be the most believable characters of them all, nathan way unbelievable (well he was till the part where they decide to make him wanna round up and destroy all power people to "protect" humanity).

I think it's funny and maybe a little joke at the writers when the line of "I got myself way in over my head" came up. How the hell do you dig yourself out of that hole and allow all the "heroes" to go free? who knows, we'll be finding out in the future though!
