Many people are thinking that either Sylar dies or Sylar kills Nathan and assumes his identity. I don't want Nathan to die for quite a few reasons. He has died at the end of every fucking season! His 'death' has always been the 'cliff hanger', lets move the fuck on. Also, I like him 'his actor more-so' but I think I'd prefer him to be him. Also, the entire family now knows that Sylar is a shape-shifter and has changed into Nathan. Do you think they would let it slide later on?

If it was 1961 would people have been that open to Charles living unsegregated w/ white ppl in the camp, or when they escape they didn't let him dance w/ her but they let him in, or have Chandra Suresh as head of this project back in those days?

pretty sure Charles was a telepath in the vein of parkman. The scene in the diner when the short-order cook confronted them pretty much hinted at that.

Yeah I got all that, but my point was the US was still incredibly institutionally racist and I can't see a black person in an extremely conservative part of the country at the time being so visible, regardless of his power. And while the diner scene addressed it sort of, I find it hard to believe that in an entire camp of people nobody would object to having it integrated at that point in time. Idk it just seems like a big hole in the way they are trying to set up the backstory to them and the way Charles's power was finally revealed in teh season 1 finale, it seems much different than the Parkman skill tree?

I think that for the individuals in Coyote Sands, finding other people hiding powers like they themselves kind of made issues like skin color seem irrelevant. As for the government officials, they were probably equally unconcerned with skin color when faced with a racially diverse group bearing the capability of compromising their power.

A stretch to be sure, but not a big stretch, I think.

The only thing that irked me about the episode was that Duval told Angela they had to sneak out and they couldn't bring her sister.

I was thinking the same thing last night. If he was so in touch with his powers he could've walked right out the front gate with the whole camp. Or when the cops didn't believe Angela he could've forced them to.

So I finally decided to give Heroes another chance and watched the last 7 episodes (was about when I stopped watching due to utter shitasticness)... boy have they picked things up. Did something happen on the staffing side of things? It seemed the show went from this grand scale garbage plot back down to the little personal things that make the show so good.

Regarding "1961", I couldn't get over how well those little girls were cast. Beyond that, some questions were answered too (how The Company was formed, where they met, etc). Good stuff. Heroes is now back on my regularly scheduled programming!

yea i havent really been following the thread this year so im sure what i say has been said 4350187 times, but for some reason the socks tie in was a holy shit moment in the same category as claires real mom being the cause of the train fire. you know, not really shocking just holy shit they thought of that kind of deal

Don't get me wrong. Little things like that are awesome but I equate it to Final Fantasy XI. If they focused on the big picture as much as they focus on the tiny details, the whole experience would be better off for it.

Yea Epical, they fired several writers a while back, and were just now getting to the episodes they wrote, which have been amazing.

On topic: This fit perfectly fine with the history with me. Deveaux, Angela, Linderman, and Bishop formed the company. They met up with Adam and the others (Pratt, Kaito, Maury Parkman, etc.) later on, Adam convinced them to stop simply covering things up and "save the world," and we know what his idea of saving was.

I thought Claire hated Sylar? I'm interested to see how they spin a proposal into the mix so quickly with only two episodes left? Maybe he isn't Sylar but he morphed into someone else.
