I think everyone is not realizing the obvious... they did this w/Sylar so that Nathan can die AGAIN at the end of the next season lol

lol
But yeah, even if they could do ALL that to kill sylar, dont forget he woke up (albeit conveniently) just moments after Parkman did his mind tricks on him. To get all the supplies you guys are asking for would take time and theyre in a big enough panic as is with nathan dead and sylar stunned.
We already know the brain itself can heal and so can body parts so long as that sweet spot is untouched. Idk if theres a limit to how much damage the brain can take though without that sweet spot just healing it anyway. Seems if it can heal itself after server buns (the Primatech fire was supposedly devastating enough for people in the show to think sylar died in it lol) and nuclear explosions.Sylar wasn't indestructible. A hollow-point tipped slug through his forehead would have completely removed the sweet spot--along with the rest of his brain--from his skull. Then they could burn the rest of the body.
Edit: Not saying the ending couldnt have been 239842% better. Just trying to have some fun discussion about these "plotholes"
Even ignoring Claire's magic blood, they still didn't need to make Sylar into Nathan. PETER CAN FUCKING SHAPESHIFT NOW. Touch Nathan, become Nathan, kill Sylar, talk to the president, mourn Nathan(for the third time) and move. the fuck. on.
This makes barely any sense.
Peter would have to become Nathan unless they mourned Nathan's dead publically.
They want Nathan to still be around to have some political power.
Matt I take it isn't going to join up with the company. He just wants to be with his wife and kid now.
It makes perfect sense. The shit that happened in the season finale is what made no sense.
and 'publically' isn't a real word.
A shotgun to head will do the trick to kill Sylar. Adama monroe stated that himself, or are we forgeting aobut him. He had great potential to be a good 'bad' guy instead that little annoying tosser Named Hiro made a complete fool of him.
I hope Hiro is killed off next season, useless charecter great ability but he needs future Hiro to be cool again.
I'd say the reason they didnt use Claire's blood is becasue they acted to rashly, I mean if a psycothic killer was about to wake up you'd make rash desicons too. Also Noa & Angelas love for Claire was that they didnt want her involed in all of it and didnt want her to see her father like that. Yeah makes no sense I know but again we could maybe see Nathans body in deep freeze since he is meant to be alive. And they could revive him at any time they wanted, same with sylar. Angela couldve have had a dream about needing sylar as nathan. So inactuall fact noone has really died in the last episode.
Meh I invent shit yo!
If Peter has to become Nathan, that really cancels out Peter doing anything else in the show.
Seeing how I doubt his power is going back to how it used to be, he can not absorb anymore powers to maintain being Nathan.
Unless Peter is like Batman and only does Superhero stuff at night.
While watching the episode I thought of something(huge speculation), but with Angela Petrelli being the queen of manipulation who is to say that she knows the outcome of all of this and knew Nathan would die, but she did all of this for a reason...and her own special hidden agenda.
He doesn't have to become Nathan, he just has to pose as him long enough to convince the president to reinstate the company(although I think the others could accomplish this without any games considering they just saved the president's life); afterward they can say Nathan went into seclusion or had a stroke or whatever.
Anyone "becoming" Nathan is stupid. Nathan is dead, his family should act like people who aren't psycho and accept that.
This whole finale sucked balls. Aside from the stupidly huge plot holes and really quite fricken *dumb* decisions, wtf @ the massive fight we all were waiting for behind a damned closed door?!
So what are other people watching? I need something good to download (yeah sue me, I'm in Australia, they don't show most stuff here) to watch while knitting now!
Lost and...Lost.
Terminater, Burn Notice, Dexter.
Bah, there's like 5 series of Lost I haven't seenI might wait til I have super fast unlimited intarweb in Europe before I try to catch up on that!
Dexter is good though, looking forward to the next season :D
I might try out Terminator & Burn Notice though (esp. since I haven't even heard of Burn Notice before...).
Terminater is hit and miss but the episodes that hit are EPIC. So much so that season two's finale is one of my favorite of any show. Burn Notice is on USA about a spy trying to get revenge on the man that 'burned' him. Its a mix of action and its funny.
Another show I like is Chuck and of course theres House but I'm sure most have heard of it if not seen it so not much to mention.
Breaking Bad, Chuck, Better off Ted, Arrested Development, How I met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Terminator, maybe dollhouse (haven't seen it yet myself but most of Whedons stuff is good.)
I hear Fringe is a good show but I cant find streams of the first 3 episodes at decent speeds. (Couldnt find them at all on Fox.com)
Fringe is...interesting. I constantly WANT to like it and while it does seem good it can never hold my attention enough to be happy for a new episode. Dollhouse is the same.
Better Off Ted is such a let down. Its lucky to air between two hit shows.
Chuck and Fringe are the only shows I really care about anymore.
Fringe/Dollhouse/Kings/Terminator, though I'm sure come next season it'll just be Fringe.
I didn't watch this season, but "dumb" decisions is what killed the show for me. It's really hard to like the character when you can't rationalize them. It doesnt always have to be the best choice (especially when the characters are suposed to be emotionally involved), but more often than not, it makes absolutely no sense.
The writers did an awful job at making a coherant world...everything always feel so scripted it's not funny.
Yeah I'm enjoying Kings & Dollhouse atm too, was sad when BSG finished
I'll check out Chuck & Fringe too then, cheers :D
