I always read it as that hiro doesn't really stop time he just slows it down a whole lot. And since the girl is "really" fast...when he "stops" time she goes to normal speed.

She actually says that. "You must not stop it completely otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation." then punches him in the head.

UK TV about to get the beginning of season3 this week - amazed the BBC is actually not showing this like 10 years later than it airs in the States for once.
Maybe they realized that everyone will just torrent the shit outta stuff otherwise finally.

Because they fucked up the exchange and opening the safe and the formula is in the hands of Nemesis entirely because of their idiocy. I was kind of disappointed w/ how the Villains on the run played out.. they made it out to be such a huge thing in the commercials during the summer and its over in 2 episodes; similarly they built Jesse up into this super villain in these 2 episodes and seeing him get killed by Sylar so quickly pissed me off. Also interested if Mama Petrelli will let Sylar get Peter's power so then his hunger can be satisfied without killing people.

because they took the formula from the Haitian, but it was then taken by the speedster. So I'm sure the company is holding them until they figure out what to do next about the formula getting out.

Some of these episodes are so full of plotholes. Noah and Haitian are plotting against the company, but then the Haitian follows Angela's orders to the letter? The Haitian is one of those 'could be a villain'.

Also, Hiro not completely stopping time is retarded. His power this whole time has been manipulating time and space, and now we find out he suddenly can't do that? I think the Heroes writers were just reaching so that Daphne could be a plausible villain to Hiro.

Just when I thought Niki's storyline was getting interesting, Ali Larter once again gets stuck in a cliche 'clone' storyline. Tim Kring SWEARS he does not read any Marvel comics, but I'm looking at all of these episodes and powers and I just can't 100% believe he didn't get them from a comic book.

The season for the most part is shaping up to be good, but I only wonder how Parkman gets an ability to see the future when his power is telepathy and telepathic suggestion.

The same way everyone else seems to have the future seeing power too after they set up Isaac to be in possession of this unique power in Season 1.

It's not that he suddenly can't stop time, the storyline is that he never could but up until now we had no way perceiving the difference between this ultra-slow time and truly stopped time.

It certainly didn't seem like a new power to me. It looked like a combination of whatever he was eating and the music the African played for him put him into a state that simulates our season 1 comic artist's power.

Why the fuck was Mom Patrelli feeding Syler the girl who could see somebodies history & where the hell did Syler get his ability to be all democractic like that from?
and the preview of next week episode where future claire shoots future peter seemed kinda stupid to me.... you can't kill peter so its not like a gun shot is gonna wound him for more than a minute. I guess present claire was really shown how to defend herself by using a gun!

I really really like the interaction between Hiro and the Speedster, I think it's a great match. Not to mention the Speedster girl is done very well.

I want to see more of Parkman... seems like his subplot has some good potential behind it & I hope he gets more screen time. I know it turns out that most of the heroes cast goes to africa [for some reason], just dunno how it plays out.

And who else thinks that in a few episodes Sylar is going to go all crazy and start killing people again... I'm kinda anxious for it... cause all this stuff of trying to make him a good guy is gonna backfire and he will turn out more twisted cause of it

I still don't believe Mom Patrelli is really his mom, I bet she used that girl who can read ppl's history on Sylar before she let him kill her. Its all part of her plan to try and domocile (sp) Sylar. And that may be a subplot of hers to try and give Sylar Peters powers (if they want to take her down the pure villian/evil path and have her killed off by the end of this season)... but that would never under any chance actually happen...!

I enjoyed the episode but one part really bothered me. Nikki died in a raging fire with like flaming support beams falling on her right? When that chick opened the casket all she had was a little scar on her head .
