It seems like episode 4 takes place in the future, or at least present Peter takes a quick spin in the future (promo shows future Claire, and possibly future Sylar, so..)
Should be interesting, at least more than the last episode.

If they are staying consistent w/how they have done time travel so far in the series. Then by future peter shooting nathon he prevented his future from ever happening & can now never return to that exact time paradox. If future peter goes back to that same time in the future, it will be the new version of that time
It's why present peter couldn't save the irish girl... Once he prevented the virus's outbreak that future she got stuck in ceaseed to exist.

So if future peter and present pter go back into future-peter's timeline that has been changed because Nathan got shot by future peter and alters his timelin, won't present peter have a new future-peter of himself, thus having THREE peters at he same time?!!
But what if they go into that future and peter from the future of that future is there for some reason, and that peter goes back into the past and changes something then go back to that point in the future with another past Peter only to find that it's yet another future with a new future peter as well as the other two Peter!?
But THEN what if fut*brain explodes*
Is this a plot hole or did I miss a scene? How did Peter (trapped in Jesse's body) even know to call Nathan after he escaped from Level 5? If I recall correctly, right after Nathan was shot present Peter chased after Future Peter and is magically whisked off to Level 5. How did he know Nathan was alive again or was he unsure? Perhaps he saw it on a TV or something, like I said I may have missed a scene.
I don't think they showed exactly how he knew Nathan was alive. He could have heard it from somewhere. It was all over the news and everything and he could have easily heard some mention it. He could have just been calling just in case. Or I suppose he could have heard about it in the time after he escaped and before he made the call. Like maybe the news was on at that gas station they were wreaking havoc at, I don't know.
Or maybe future peter from present peter's past peter went to *brain explodes*
making Sylar a good guy *.* we didnt saw the same series then.
Mom petrelli is the devil <.< if you couldnt figure that out until know then wow.
I guess mom petrelli try to show sylar he can trust her, but I still think it's a waste.
I'm not a big fan of all the new stuff, specially what is happening in the USA, with claire getting on the villain side, petrelli mother that is actually syler mother (so peter and nathan are sylar's brother), benneth teaming up with him.
In the other hands I really like Daphnee and Hiro (maybe a futur couple) and Parkman story is cool.
Mohinder's transformation so reminds me of 'goblinizing' from Shadowrun. They reminded me of dermal deposits that appeared when people turned into trolls. Quite possibly he is growing an exoskeleton, since when that is in its infancy its a very soft material which this appeared to be. Perhaps he is turning into a dungbeetle! or something.
I still dont qute get Sylar, unless he is starting to realize that time no longer matters for him. One can assume that the similarities between claire's powers and Adam's will give them basically imortality. Now that Sylar has this his 'desire' for powers should diminish. After all, why take every power when a little genetic diversity may yield something better.
I have always assumed sylers power was that of "observing a mechanical/biological process and understanding its full 'purpose'" Much like after poking claire he knew what her power was and its limitations (why he put her head back on) and why it would be pointless to try and kill her. How syler 'changes' himself might also relate into his power; since he would have innate knowledge of how his own body/mind works. There are many things the human body can do if a person spends the time to learn/practice that action (like moving single muscle groups normally part of a larger set). Though it does seem like he does have some limitations. For example in the bank, He easily took care of the 2 people, but when the 3rd started to move he did seem a little concerned.
Then all five future peters could meet and form the ultimate 5 future peter crime fighting team if they all go time travel into the same future and dont fuck w/ anything so none of their current times that they left get alterted and perma messed up. But eventually Sylar would kill Hiro and get the ability to time travel... so by season 8 sylar will jump to about 10 different futures and just convince his other future sylar versions to go to his current present sylar time and slay the 4 future peters along w/the present peter. Season 9 will be an epic clash of 5 peters vs 10 sylars.
Naw, but they obviously dont use the time travel to their full advantage. cause why couldn't present peter go into the past to recue the irish girl before past peter could send her off into the future. She was cute... they need to spend 5 minutes to go save past irish girl from past peter so that future peter isnt all emo over everything. Or present/future peter could just go into the past and see his mom not-give birth to past sylar... at w/point future peter could then go and kill past sylar so that the series would never of been aired since they lost their main villian!
I'm guessing that's because they generally like to show Sylar using his hands to 'direct' his power, though he has used his telekinesis before without waving his hands. It is maybe a guideline they try to follow writing the show to keep people from becoming even more powerful.
Yeah, it is kinda pointless to make Sylar part of a two-man team if he's a complete one-man wrecking ball. Granted, he is and they just aren't letting him be it but it helps storytelling especially in that scene letting Noah be useful and show how good of a partnership they are.
Why is no one discussing wtf is up with Linderman?! O_O;
Anybody else think Ando is gonna end up boning the speedy chick?
Ok, this begs the question, who would win in a fight:
5 different future version of Peter Petrelli
or-
5 Tommy Olivers each as a different Power Ranger he's been
I think the Tommys take it. I've never seen Peter jump kick a T Rex in the face.
