Well you asked a question that was obviously going to be revealed. I didn't mean everything. It's pretty clear that at no point will we fully understand the Heroes world.
No, only to sense what they want. I haven't seen them get physical control.

That is what I mean; both of them have been limited to planting ideas, thus making me wonder if this guy is the next step on the chain wherein they could control enough of a person's mind that they could manipulate them physically? Conversely, I'd think he might be able to read peoples minds in the way the Parkmans can. None of those questions I asked there I really expected answers that would satisfy me, I was just stating that this character is the ultimate suspension of disbelief for me.
lol I'm just bitching cause I want to know more and I have to wait a week or more for it :\
Younger Parkman has thrown a thought into the mind of his boss (when he was still a cop) and gotten him to react based on that thought. You can branch that out to be physical control if you just keep giving them thoughts to move a certain way. But I agree the puppet man is just a puppet man, it's quite different from the Parkman power.
Didn't you read my post? I pretty much explained what the gist of this guy's power is. >.>; He's called the Puppetmaster for a reason. I've seen shows/anime where this sort of character was portrayed. He's not controlling their mind or looking into it like the Parkman's. He's causing them to do what he does as if he had strings attached between 'em. It's a reatarded character to be honest, but he did pull off the sadistic nature.
No way, they'll become really good friendsSpoiler: show
Best episode of the last 2 seasons. Hiro telling Ando that saying all white people look alike is "racist" was hilarious. I guess when Arthur took Monroe's powers, he immediately grew old and died, so I don't think he can kill people by simply touching them. Also, I LOVE the Sylar plotline. He's like a Peter, but without being a big pussy.
Peter has the most badass power of all people but is the dumbest motherfucker on the show.
"Hey Dad! I haven't seen you in years since I thought you were dead and you're know hanging out with level 5 mega-evil dudes. Wait what did you say? You want a hug? Oh why not! I've missed you so much!..... Ah what are you doing to me!?? I never saw this coming?!?!"
The puppetmaster guy's power is like Shikamaru from Naruto (w/o shadow strangle and shadow sewing), just the regular old shadow possession type technique. If u noticed, he uses his puppet controllery in areas with alot of lighting (so far), but anyways he got buttfkked by claire and her stepdad.
Arthur Petrelli's the thing Mohinder and Maya were looking for (before Mohinder made the formula to give people powers). He has the ability to extract powers out of people, leaving them powerless. In Adam Monroe's case, when he took away Adam's regeneration, Adam falled to the ground, and disintegrated, corroded, etc.
Basically what happened was, w/o Adam's having rapid cellular regeneration, all his injuries caught up to him from the hundreds of years he's lived/amount of injuries he's taken. But as a result, Arthur Petrelli was healed from all of his illness or injury, which caused him to be in bed on oxygen.
Now, when Arthur hugged his son Peter, he took all of Peter's powers alright. BUT HE DID NOT TAKE HIS RAPID CELLULAR REGENERATION. If he did, then peter's injuries would of caught up with him, and he'd be dead. WHY you ask? Because Arthur already got the power from Monroe, so he could only abosrb EVERYTHING ELSE from his son.
Arthur's ability is more like Rogue from X-men, he hugs (Peter's case) or touches them (Monroe's case). Note: Peter's soul sorta comming out when he hugged papa. Probably can kiss people (physical contact) and get it too of course I guess, who cares anyways.
In my opinion, Peter is WAY more powerful than Arthur, he doesn't have to come into physical contact with anyone to absorb their powers, and of course he cant absorb someone's power twice (like how Arthur could only absorb Rapid cellular regeneration once). Also he cant control when he absorbs someone's power (like how he got Nikki's superstrength at end of season 1 w/o knowing who she was).
Since Peter is more powerful, if u notice in next episode preview, Arthur keeps Peter incapacitated by handcuffing him and leaving him. Why would, he do this, and not just kill Peter u ask? Because Peter still has Rapid Cellular Regeneration (and he's his son, would u put a bullet in the back of the head of ur son, who you've not seen for years, i dont think so kkthxbai).
Arthur could not absorb this power because he had gotten it from Monroe, meaning Sylar (except for his other powers) and Claire (especially Claire) are safe still, unless they are shot in the back of the head, or beheaded.
BTW, Peter was naturally born with his power, and it turns out that it's much stronger than his dad (no need for physical contact to get someone's power unlike his dad who needs physical contact), so he's incapacitated as long as his dad and Pinehearst keeps him away from people w/ powers that he can just absorb again.
Im not sure about Sylar's power of The Hunger-Analysis(cutting open skull)-Learning abilities, might of been a test subject just like his Bro Nathan. ZOMG HEROES OWNS, EVERYONE WATCH IT NEXT WEEK WOOTZ.
More nothingness happened tonight that all of last season, and to be honest, the beginning of this season was terrible. Monroe died, Hiro plot thickened (gogo company infiltration), Claire is less of an emo bitch than she was 24 hours ago, and Sylar looks to very soon be going on a god damned rampage. Lot's of good shit tonight. The Parkman plot is pretty lame thus far, but hey, whatever. You're just leaky because HRG had like 3 seconds of screen time =/
Stealing powers has always pissed me off in any show, so I did not like this episode. D:
Vajra: You're retarded for two reasons
First of all, gtfo with Naruto BS
Second of all, it was just the age that got to Adam. Peter is powerless.
HRG hasn't had a lot to do the whole season really and even when he does he is just there for two seconds QQing to Claire, who is QQing as always. It just seems like the show takes a really long time to do things that don't have much of a point, so it seems like the show doesn't progress much (if at all) from week to week. They spent so long today on the puppet guy, just for him to in the end get tranquilized by the company or whatever and we'll probably never see him again. Same with vortex man.
Also, I think it's a bit weird that Parkman is trying to get with Daphne. I feel like Daphne is like 17 or 18 about, and he is probably close to 40...kind of creeps me out honestly.
Best line of the night "high five turtle!" If that line didn't make you laugh then nothing will. Kinda of sucks that they killed Adam. I was hoping to see him and Hiro going at later on, at least his death was pretty epic.
Don't worry, he obviously has a twin brother and will be back in S5 because the twin will have resurrected him from the ashes that fell when Petrelli touched him.
I mean. Ali Larter has come back three times, why can't this guy?
Adam will be back for guest spots. They have to show him in the episodes in which they talk about Arthur's past. Same with Linderman.
Also, I've heard many people talk about Daphne's age. I hope they do realize that she is 27 years old. Sure there is an age difference but I know plenty of couples with a larger gap. And at that age it isn't unusual.
Yeah, my take was that Adam died because his body was several hundred years old too. Kinda sucks, really liked his character and the actor.
Also, there is never going to be a season where Peter doesn't have something ridiculous happen to him or his powers early on to prevent him from using God mode and saving the day immediately.
I dunno. I agree with the whole shadow possession thing. That's how Shikamaru's power worked, and that seemed to be how the Puppetmaster's power worked. Now that I think about it, it seems likely as he was indeed in lighted areas, and sort of close to them.
As far as Peter's dad being like Rouge.. yeah. It's not like he could take a power from Peter that he already got from someone else. One thing I'm curious of is did he take Peter's power to absorb other people's powers without touching them like he has the past two seasons? If not, what stops Peter from just swiping other people's powers again. I'm sure he had it taken though, but kept his Rapid Cell Regeneration.
Nice stuff, Vajra. Don't listen to Max. He's a douche. =] (JAYKAY MUCH LOVE)
