you never see him actually eat the brain, just take a look and see how it works so he can then gain the ability. If he does eat a brain, it's done off screen/script.

He's never taken someone's power without killing them. I don't think he eats them(lol), but it's probably required to at least see the brain without skull and flesh in the way.
I don't think Sylar has the tools (or the want) to look at someone's brain without killing them (bleeding to death?). Although, I don't think that they would die the way Sylar likes to kill them instantly but it would hurt a lot...
For those who needed a reason to dislike her...

So happy!
Am I the only one who doesn't like Sylar as a villian? Everyone else here seems to love him but I think they need to kill him off and get someone new <_> but maybe it's just me. I'm upset that he's getting Claire's powers because that just means there's going to be a lot more of him this season.
I figuredbut its still one of my biggest pet peeves with the show. I hate when super heroes don't use their power in obvious situation.
I can't say I liked what was said about the story in the review. There is many great twist on their own, but in a single episode (even if it last 2h10), it's going to feel like they are trying too hard to have shocking events.
I didn't manage to see the premiere at CC cause I was working, but the new girl hero came by our booth! Brea Grant I think her name was. She was really tiny and had big boobs and was pretty.
I'm going to the Heroes set tomorrow!! HRG won't be there :'( but I'm really excited anyway. I love this show even though S2 did suck for the most part. However, there were some really cool episodes mixed in, and I liked some of the stuff and ideas that were brought up. Even the creator of the show admitted that S2 sucked in Entertainment Weekly or something, so I'm sure that they're going to do whatever they can to make this season a lot better.
Also, I fucking HATE Sylar. I wish they would get a new bad guy too. I know this is really weird, but his eyebrows drive me fucking crazy. They're so god damn bushy and I can never focus on anything he says because of them. My uncle saw Sylar at some party during comic con and told me that his eyebrows are just as prominent in real life as they are on the show. Bleh. I'd rather have evil Claire than Sylar anyday.
If claire turns evil, will she get maya's power? It would be fitting because she cries all the damn time.
Does it not bother anyone else how stupid this plotline for the first episode is? Suddenly Sylar can hurt Claire and get her power without killing her?
Then why the hell did they even bother saving her in the first season, and why was she dead in 5 Years Gone?
Man, the writers of this show are so stupid. They had such a great concept and they ruined it.
Someone already posted this, but I want to say it again. I hope Nikki/Micah/Cousingirl storyline just ends. It has no real connection to anything else in the show, and all they do is get lost and kidnapped.
Finished season 2 tonight, and I was pretty disappointed. Season 1 was so awesome with all the stories weaving in and out together, season 2 didn't have this at all. Also very sad about Sylar still being alive + the villain. How many times are they gonna have to fight him off??
Alright, please keep the first episode spoiler tagged. As much as I'd like to ruin the episode by reading the Comi-Con synopsis, I'd rather wait till the episode airs in September.
I'm really, really happy you have nothing to do with the show then. Take away one of the few interesting points of light in the show and replace it with the worst thing in the show? Oh wait, now her angst(her worst quality) will have fully taken over, yay. Why? EYEBROWS, AH MY GAWDDDD they r CREEPY.Bleh. I'd rather have evil Claire than Sylar anyday.
He didn't kill her because he chose not to. People thinking he has to kill someone to get their power are just assuming things not going on what we learn in the episodes. It's pretty obvious he only looks at the brain and then shatters it or whatever afterwards, but in Claire's case he simply looked at it and let her regenerate. Whoever thinks he eats the brains is crazy, he's a villain not a psychopath cannibal.
watthen shatters it or whatever afterwards
