Quite possible, but its possible his father is lying to him, and his powers eventually come back. The 'bleed on me' solution works too...

They don't need to do that. Just need to get Elle to concentrate enough to rip open an artery and then spray it onto Peter.

The thing that SHOULD be asked is what was Sylar thinking? Is he seriously on the side of Pinehearst now? And if not, how did he know Peter would be ok? If he even cared about him.
